Komaneka Bisma is a good 4 star...
Komaneka Bisma is a good 4 star hotel. The view from the lobby is very nice. The facilities are quite average. The location is quite near central Ubud, however the road is quite small and bumpy. Our stay was less than perfect. We got assigned originally to a 1st floor suite with a very average view. And the electricity in our room was dead. They tried for 45 min to fix it with no success. I have to personally go to the reception twice and haggle around before they come to their senses and upgrade us to a better room. The staff however is amazing. They really look after you. The ladies at the restaurant gave me extra portion of my favorite afternoon tea food. And they gave us a surprise chocolate cake on our last night. Overall a nice 4 star hotel, but we will try different hotel next time.

Komaneka at Bizma is a quite...
Komaneka at Bizma is a quite new hotel and still under construction partly. However, that does not give any inconvenience in staying at the hotel. First of all, all the staffs were extremely kind and treated us like a family. The location of this hotel is near Monkey forest road and it takes about 5 min. by a hotel shuttle and even within walking distance. Actually, the Bisma street and the near area (Raya Ubud Road) has nice restaurants and less commercial than the area of Monkey forest road. The room and the swimming pool has a great view of rice paddy field. It could have been perfect if there were more romantic touch in interiors of dining area. As the owner is also the owner of Neka gallery which name is after his, this place is well decorated with nice paintings and antiques.
