Nice hotel!
I have booked Standard Room for two nights but they upgraded our room to Deluxe Room. We were delighted as the rice field was just in front of our balcony. The location of the hotel is good - along Monkey Forest Street. There were many restaurants and shops nearby and was also walkable to Ubud Market. We rented a motorbike from the hotel to travel around and it was fun! The breakfast was simple but the food was delicious. The downside is the furniture is quite old and most of the locks were spoilt. Anyway, we enjoyed our stay at Sri Bungalow and will definitely come back again! Thanks to all the hotel staff!
A peaceful haven
Sri bungalows is great value for money. The deluxe rooms were lovely, spacious and clean. Beautiful gardens and rice paddy surround the rooms and the pool was great too. Simple but tasty breakfast. Service friendly and prompt. Will definitely stay there again.
Xmas in Bali 2011
We visited Ubud for Xmas with our adult son. It was hard to imagine just how peaceful it would be at Sri Bungalow given that it is centrally positioned on busy Monkey Forrest Road. We found it to be a beautiful place with an extremely well kept clean room, attentive staff, equisite gardens and a good breakfast to start the day. It was a great experience to be amongst the rice paddies and see and hear the ducks each morning and evening and at the same time to be so close to shops and many eating houses . Although not cheap worth every penny.
Hotel very central, nice clean bungalow with little varandah which was nice. We would stay here again :)
2 night stay at Sri Bungalow
In middle of town. Good location for food. Value for money. We like our bungalow sitting in middle of paddy field, frog, toad and all creatures and insects comes with it. The bungalow could have a bigger air con.
Oasis on a busy street
Put out the extra money to get a bungalow on the rice paddies. The rooms are great with true Balinese style. The breakfast leaves a little to be desired but there are many cheap restaurants up Jalan Monkey Forest. We always stay here everytime we go to Ubud.
Very poor
Hotel location is nice and outside the rooms look good but inside they are not good at all. Old twoels no water.Internet wireless was lossing the signal all the time cause signal is very bad.only two poor lights in the room so dark. Only one socket to plug in the whole room. If you are downstairs is very noisy cause you can fell all the steps of the room upstairs. I deciced to move cause for that money i could find better places.
