very friendly staff, large variety of food for breakfast., would stay here again, very quiet place huge pool, great service from bar pool staff. room very clean, hot shower. cons; internet only in lobby and dinning room, bed was to firm and pillow hard, tv reception not good.
We stayed in a 1 bedroom villa with our own pool. It was great. The hotel rooms themselves were a little older but the villa was perfect, would stay there again for sure
Have stayed at the Puri Saron three times. I find them very helpful and accommodating. The staff are always willing to assist you. The room was very pleasant and clean. The bath/shower my wife found very difficult do get in and out of with out my assistance. But over all it is a beautiful place very handy for the beach and restaurants. Would happily stay there again.
everything about the hotel was fine except the food could do with a bit more variation with breakfast and the evening meals were a bit more exspensive than local place to eat also the car service that was about tried to charge to much it was easy to walk to top of road and get a taksi on the metre worked out a lot better but must say would visit again but use the local facilitys rather than the hotels
we loved our stay at puri saron, when we got there we were upgraded to a 2 bedroom villa it was great ,heaps of room private pool ,and bali hut,the whole resort was very good ,great pool area with swim up bar ,straight out the front to the beach and resturants,we will be back.
The Puri Saron is an older balinese hotel well situated in seminyak. We found its strong points were pool area-with views across bay, balinese surroundings, nice garden and relaxed atmosphere. The little bars-overlooking the bay - just outside the hotel were very good --something we had not seen on previous vists to bali. Very little pressure from street sellers. Beaches were open and relatively quiet. On the negative side rooms were a bit aging --and we had to move on our first day as the room provided had a damp odour . This was arranged immediately and the room we obtained was much better .{ you definitely need to raise these issues ] Those rooms overlooking the garden area on the pool side of the hotel would have been better for sitting out on your balcony --and were we to go again we would request such a room . Breakfast was OK without being anything special . . The hotel grew on over the week --and we were happy with our choice . It is a well priced, mid range hotel in a good area--- as long as you get a good room. Some of the newer hotels these days I feel lack the traditional balinese feel.
Hidden away at the end of Jl Dyana Pura, The Puri Saron is a real gem. It sits right on the beach at Seminyak for incredible sunsets and is a 30 min walk or 5 min taxi (depending on traffic) to the main eating and shopping streets. Also a short stroll to the barts and clubs on Dyana Pura. The hotel is large but not impersonal, has a great pool area and puts on a great buffet breakfast catering to everyone. They have some of the friendliest staff ever who don't bat an eyelid if you want a Bintang at 9am. It has a large euro/ dutch/ german clientèle so be prepared for towels on sun loungers at 7am. apart from that it's all good.
The pool area is spectacular and you can walk straight out onto the beach. The rooms are comfortable but could do with a spruce up. The outlook and verandah is beautiful. The bathroom is a mess and there is no way of stopping the shower from drenching the floor. The open drain is very smelly. The food for breakfast is adequate but there is nowhere really to eat of a night or get a drink. You need to leave the hotel and go up the street and if it is raining that is a bit difficult.
