Hotel took unauthorised payment from my credit card
Hotel Casa Ganesha took unauthorised payment from my credit card after we left hotel and they did not bother to inform me about it. When I discovered charges 10 days later in my bank statement and demanded explanation from the hotel, they said they charged me for an extra bed because they forgot to charge me while I was in hotel. They actually never mention any extra charges for the bed while we were there.
That is absolutely unacceptable behaviour when you deal with the customers! They literally had stolen from my credit card, as I am still not agree with the charges because my original booking was for 3 people and all bed charges should be included for all 3 people.
Rooms in this hotel are so tiny and there is no space to accommodate 3 people in one room, so they should not offer book for 3 people at all. We were struggling to move in the room, have to stay outdoors all the time as there was no space in the room at all.
Breakfast for first two days was from a menu, very basic, like omelette or toast. Then more people arrived to the hotel, so they offered buffet breakfast to the guests, also not really extensive. So, we felt we were not important, others were…
In the whole it was the most uncomfortable and most expensive stay (due to extra charges taken from my card) I ever had in Bali.
I will never stay in this hotel again and will suggest to anybody to stay away from them till they change their management style.

ok stay
Was a fine place for me to stay as I was volunteering at animal shelter so was out of the room most of the day. Is good location with just short walk to monkey forest road. Shuttle bus was sometimes unavailable if wanting to get into centre of town, but often there was an alternative like back of bike!
Breakfast was included in stay. Larger than average portions and ok menu though not huge variety.
Room was fine for cheap accomodation. Renovations were starting towards end of my stay so new look with be good. Room was made up each day, mini bar fridge and TV though limited english speaking channels. Padlock for room security was a bit poor. Bathroom was fine though no curtain around shower so toilet got wet.
Pool was fine to cool off in, but a bit exposed to restuarant and street.
Had probably one of the best massage's at hotel spa but paid more than other places - to be expected though!
average stay but good for budget travellers.
Casa Ganeisha definitely not our preferences
We reached Casa Ganeisha Hotel @ Night since our flight was delayed. The receotionist was ok but the i dont like the environment of the Hotel. Kind of tooo classic and somehow we will uncomfortable. The surroundings was soo quiet until we dont know what to so. Feel weird also.
The room is small and fully equipped with the queen bed and TV Cabinet only. Luckily they have fridge inside but unfortunately they dont have ward-drobe. We cant do anything in the room except for landing on bed since there is no space available. So bad. The wi-fi connection from room is poor and we need to go outside to get access into it.

The hotel is not very expensive because...
The hotel is not very expensive because of the distance between it and the center of Ubud. But it's near the monkey forest. It has to walk about 1 km to reach the center of the city. You have good restaurant nearly. the hotel is pleasant with a terrace for each room. But I didn't like the system of the shower in the bathroom (no bath, no shower box, you wash yourselves directly on the ground). Good reception and good breakfast.
If you stay at less 3 nights, they offer you a foot massage
