Must be among the best in UBUD
The Beji looked pretty good on the website of Asia rooms, but believe me it is even better once you arrive. The young staff are just amazing and can't do enough for you. they recommended some amazing evening shows for me, and advised and booked all my excursions eg Whitewater rafting, mountain biking, elephant sanctuary etc. The free shuttle is usefull, but you can have a hotel car anytime for a private booking for 50,000 rp.
The hotel is far enough out from the centre to be very serene and peacefull, yet 4 mins into central Ubud by car ( you can walk )
Breakfasts were terrific, with the amazing views from the restaurant. 5 stunning pools,
there are some steps because of the gentle hillside setting, these are easy and make the setting more beautiful.maybe the lowest infinity pool might be a few steps too many for elderly, but there are 4 others. The hotel seems to attract some really lovely guests too, from all corners of the world.
1 minute from an amazing Spa 'Bali Botanica day spa' on the road down to centre, you have to go for the 75min Massage OMG!!
I really want to go back to Beji very soon!

Stunning
What a find! Stunning place, wonderful staff, well-kept and beautiful gardens, infinity pools hanging over valley, great breakfast, huge rooms....great value for money. My only complaints - it was a little noisy in the loft rooms towards the back where we were as the motor bikes sped around the street behind us. Virtually no information - actually no information whatsoever in the rooms about the hotel or about Ubud itself. Almost nothing in the bar fridge. No explanation about anything really. Of course we simply asked and the staff were very helpful but it would be easier if there were a little booklet or something explaining how the hotel works, where things are, how to get to town, a map, activities available and so on. Also, more villas are being built so there's a little noise at the moment down in front of some of the valley rooms but I'm sure it's very temporary. We'd go back for sure.

Good atmosphere
I went for a short break with my hubby. We choose Beji after we read the reviewed from others traveller. The place looks awesome with the nice scenery and special dedicated swimming pool. The service was really great & friendly staffs. The place quite near to monkey forest. If you like to relax, this is a great place. But if you like happening place please choose Juta area coz Ubud after 8pm not much activity. Pls take note room 5 have pest problem coz you will see a lot of dead ants drop from the roof top.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The pools were beautiful, small ones, but brillantly designed to take advantage of the scenery. Peaceful and quiet place to relax, with ample privacy, however, my only grouse is that I found the lighting too dim, it was not suitable for reading once dark.

Close proximity to Ubud with shuttle service. Great staff, friendly and helpfull. Established gardens and valley views. Beautifult pools but rooms a little basic. Clean and airconditioned though.

Beji is a beautiful resort in a stunning location. The 5 pools ensure you can always find a private spot for a swim.
The resort is a 40ish minute walk to town, the shuttle bus leaves at inconvenient times so we ended up paying for a lift in most days as we liked to eat in town. Ubud doesn't have any metered taxi's so drivers can charge you an excessive amount (by Bali standards!) to get in and out.
The food in the hotel was not so nice and breakfast wasn't much to rave about. The lovely wait staff did make up for the lack of quality in the food.
We had a two bedroom villa, one room had a nice bathroom with a shower, the only had a bath with a hand held shower which wasn't mounted on the wall, so really only one functional shower between the two rooms.
If you are looking for a quiet relaxing break then this hotel offers value for money.

Memorable stay in Ubud
From the moment we arrived this hotel was sensational. The staff were delightful, the setting amazing and the room lovely, huge and very clean. Great shower/bath, lovely bed, a/c, great beji breakfast every morning, 5 amazing breathtaking pools, value for money. Right down the road from naughti nuri's and bintang supermarket, the location is great, about a 15-20 minute walk into down town Ubud. We are already planning when we can come back - loved loved loved it! Memorable experience.

Stunningly Beautiful
I spent two nights along with two friends at this resort. It's a little way outside UBUD but as we had a car pick us up and a driver for two days this was fine. The resort offeres a shuttle service but only three times a day, still taxies are cheap and plentiful so getting there and back is not a problem,
The staff could not have been more helpful or more pleasant. The rooms are delightful, infinity pools (yep three of them) lovely and the setting stunning.
I would certainly go back and we were all sorry that we had only allocated two nights to our stay in Ubud.
Probably not a great place for those with small children due to the number of pools and steps.
