Great Stay at Lovina Eco Lodge
Great place, good room, clean and spacious bathroom, wonderfull swimming pool and very quiet place. Really a good place to stay, we spend one night here and were not disappointed. Only 6 bungalows around the pool.
Only negative point is the location, far from the center of kulubukuk (10mn by scooter) but this is the price of quietness.

A very nice place but not in lovina (you must have a car or a scooter).
Peaceful hideaway
Really enjoyed the peace and tranquility of surroundings. Left for Munduk without my togs and after a telephone call Lovina Eco Lodge owner delivered them to my door without any cost!! Was very appreciative of their efforts. The staff are friendly and the pool is gorgeous....
Heaven in the jungle
1st impression - we get frightened wen v get to the lovina eco lodge. the road is narrow and is like on the way to jungle. once u miss the junction, u r hardly turn back especially at night, is quite scary.
anyway, the environment is really great!! - natural, a lot of beautiful plants & flowers... feel fresh!! all the staff r very friendly & kind, they r ready to listen for ur needs.. the most important is having a delicious breakfast with great view!! it makes me feel warm to stay here!! i enjoy it!! ^^
it wil b a great place to stay if u wish to escape from the city life, to take a breath/relax. :)
Best place ever!!!
Looking at the review of Shah, India, about this Lodge, we were a bit scared to book, but then when we arrived and stay at the Lodge we were very happy about our choice.
We had a relaxing and pleasant stay at this lodge. We booked 1 nights, but we extended for other 2 because it was really good to stay there.
We also asked to the manager what has happened with the Indian and he shown us the "stolen" bag (with the passport inside)!!!
No stolen bag and not unsafe place at all, it is unbelievable what the people do for free nights and free food...this is what the indian got.
The lodge has big and clean rooms, it has nice pool and woderful view from the terrace.
The staff treated us like queens, always thoughtful and helpful.
We really enjoyed our stay and we will come back at this Lodge for sure when we will go to Bali again.
A hidden treasure and very good value,
we spent 3 nights there after spending 1 night in Lovina Beach itself, we moved out of Lovina to get away from the overpriced shabby, and in one place" just a dump" hotels (Lovina Beach Hotel) which we walked in and walked straight out again). The Lovina Lodge is about 5kms from Lovina but we walked there easily enough. The bemos or "transport" will take you there if you can communicate the address. The lodge is as it looks in the pictures but smaller and on about a 1/4 acre block. The rooms are nice, reasonably modern and it is all well taken care of. The WiFi is not reliable and the TV is only in Bali Language but we find that fun. The pool is beautiful and the food is excellent. The poeple who staff the place are just the nicest most gentle and polite people in the Universe. It is an ideal place to get away from touristy stuff, or to use as a base for exploring. We should have a bike or a car and will next time we go. We walked around the village nearby.It is very non-tourist and just Balinese day to day life, the people mostly waved and said hello and the kids were excited to see us.. there are lots of dogs around so I always carried a stick but we just stayed on the opposite side of the road and ignored them and had no trouble.. just lots of barking etc. Previous reviewers commented on the USD and IDR conversiion rate used to calculate the bill. The same happend with us but we asked about it and found it is just how the computer program they use converts to IDR. They were happy to convert based on the daily rate. I suggest take your booking quote in IDR and you will not have a problem. Another review commented on the music. We heard that, and it is a little annoying. We went to investigate and found out it is coming froma local excentrics village house about a km away. The day after we asked about it (not complaining cos it is their world not ours) it became quieter. When we left it was sad with hugs and like leaving friends who we may not see again. :(
Unsafe !
The lodge is in a deserted area , far away from the main town. The staff leaves the premises at 9 pm after which there is only a watchman there. Our bags were stolen from our room and the hotel took no responsibility for it !!! .

Our Indonesian family
Lovina Eco Lodge as a hotel was everything and maybe even more than we could ask for. Hotel was really nice and clean, pool was great, breakfast especially fruit juice was excellent and the whole neighborhood was perfect for relaxing and enjoying life. But the main thing was that the hotel staff made as feel special and safe. Basically they felt like a family =) Staying close to nature and local everyday life offered us a bit of balinese culture we were looking for. We would definately stay there again and recommend the Lodge for everyone who is going to Lovina. We already miss everybody and everything back there.
Quiet and lovely location on the hill...
Quiet and lovely location on the hill side. By car 10 minutes to Lovina Beach. Our bungalow was spacious, clean and with a beautiful outdoor-bathroom. Free WiFi and a nice pool. The breakfast is good, but small. They use the exchange rate $/Rupiah 9500! - usually it's 9000... So the room rate in rupiah is more expensive then written in asiarooms.com. Very friendly staff and a good restaurant.

The room/ bungalows are beautiful, all new, big size. Because the lodge is new, staff is still getting used to tourist. Breakfast was nice. Location is not ideal, 15 minutes drive on the back of the scooter, this was free transport service from the hotel. At 5 AM we were woke up by religion music. This sound was very very loud!!! The hotel is beautiful, pool is very clean, but when you are on holiday you don´t want to wake up at 5 in the morning by religion music.
