Overated... will not be returning
The accommodation prices are very good for how clean and pleasing the resort is... however they make up for the cheap accommodation prices with very expensive food, drinks and other services. If you are on a budget, do not go here. If you have plenty of money and do not mind being ripped off (it's Bali for God's sake!)... then this is the place for you. Overall, there were two good things about Kubu Indah... the location and the Indonesian staff.
A tip, go to the little shop just outside of the main hotel gate... you will get food, drinks and transport for more than half the price the Resort charges.

perfect for divers
Very nice resort with friendly staff and high service level. and superb food . A perfect place to stay for divers but not much to do outside the resort. The beach is stony and not for kids.

Excellent place for quiet family holiday stay. Staff friendly, rooms are very good, just the location is a bit not good.
I would highly recommend Kubu Indah resort...
I would highly recommend Kubu Indah resort for anyone wanting to get away from it all. The accommodation being brand new was absolutely fantastic. Management and all staff were very accommodating, helpful and extremely pleasant. If you are a diver this is the place for you, with dive masters and all equipment on hand at all times and the offer of PADI dive course for certificate. We aren't divers but never the less enjoyed the snorkeling immensely. Just one thing to note is that the area is volcanic which means the beach is black sand and rocks, I would suggest reef shoes a must. Being that there is very little alternative for dining outside of the resort the menu offered by the resort restaurant was superb and very good value. Thanks to everyone at "Kubu Indah" :-)
The apmosphere is quitly frozen / all...
The apmosphere is quitly frozen / all is good but there are no happiness in this resort / it was open in july 2010, all is not in order / the spa is very nice, the massage women are very efficiently.
