Nice place in the middle of Denpasar city
The unique of the hotel is the location right in the middle of city, in the walk distance you can find varieties of restaurants. It is a good bargain for a comfort hotel, even though the toilet is a bit small, but the rest of it is quite nice for the price you paid. A bit noisy because the room is small in the morning, because people busy check out their group.
Clean, safe and quiet.
We arrived at 8:30 pm 2 January 2012 and left the next day at 7:30 am. For in-transit travel accomodations POP Denpasar is the best value for money I have found in Bali. 38.00 USD including free WIFI, a "modular bathroom experience", comfortable bed, flat screen TV, and breakfast (x2)! Yes, the breakfast was Indonesian, spicy, and an experience I personally enjoyed. My wife said POP reminds her of hostels - I tend to agree, only POP has color and pizzazz. The staff were always there to assist, and they were friendly, and helpful. For overnighting in Bali POP is perfect - this was my 10th transit through Bali. Summing up, i recommend for folks on a real tight budget, stay here longer. For folks staying in Bali for a few days/Bali experience, spend more (twice at much at least) and stay elsewhere.
Good service, Wi-fi service is very helpfull. but unfortunatelly, no electric kettle to boil water. because we travel with baby, so we need hot water to made some milk. Breakfast is a little bit spicy. suggestion: serve the chili separetly , so every kind of quest can ejoy the meal.The interior so unique, cool colors. Overall is nice. Hope to visit and stay at Pop Hotel next time...

In many ways find it better than staying in a turisty spot. Taxis are cheap so for a few dollars you can go to the near spots - if so desired. will remain their loyal customer.

Funky and fun
Overall a good experience, very modern and clean. Staff were helpfull and friendly wifi was a bit unstable on 3rd floor but useable. Only missed no laundry none nearby on street either. Taxi always nearby was useful no nearby attractions to walk to. Very busy street tough to cross to visit restraunt.
