Good value
For Seminyak, this hotel is very reasonably priced....relatively close to all the bars/restaurants on Pettitenget and near Seminyak square.
This hotel is very hard to find especilly at night and the map isnt incredibly accurate. Its near the mutiara resort

i will definitely go to seminyak village again next time i visit Bali. nice place. nice price. nice service.
Don't go there!
We arrived late in the evening and in the dark apart from appearing slightly dated the villa seemed okay. However it rained in the night and water poured down the walls inside and we awoke to water everywhere. Staff were quick to come and clean up but we were not happy. There were mosquitoes everywhere; the safe was easily carried away as it was not secured in the wardrobe; bedding was bobbled, breakfast was appaulling - we waited half an hour for a glass of juice, there was toast, cold noodles and if you had time an egg cooked on a camping stove.
We left and checked into a hotel later the next day!
Okay only
Me and my friends checked in on 27 June 2011. Due to our room was not ready to check in before 2pm, therefore we put our luggage in the resort and paid then continous our Bali journey. We back to resort around 9pm and get our room key. We ordered and charge for 4 adults room but we only got a 3 adults room. Cleaness of the room was just okay. The bathroom handle and lock was damage. The single bed mattress also damage too. We requested for a room change. The staff able to change our room. However, the air-conditioner in new room couldn't functioned. We felt tired, and waste of time to change the room again thus just stay awake for whole night in that warm room. Besides that, we have hard time while shower coz the water supply just damn damn little. I will never stay in that resort again!
the staff are very friendly and the price is reasonable. There are mosquitoes and gecko in the room. specks of mould on the wall and the toilet is smelly... All in all, this is not bad a hotel, but if you really care about the cleanliness, you might feel a bit uncomfortable.
Needs improvement
The Seminyak Village resort was ok? Staff were very friendly and helpful but there is a lack of understanding with English. When we stayed there was a "Go Study" students from Netherlands. They use the resort like a campus and stay within their own group. Didn't like the idea of not having a hotel feel. Bar staff struggled with taking orders for food etc. My opinion is that the hotel has potential but I would say give it a couple of years to sort itself out. It needs a management makeover as well as a review of their guest Market. The Private Villas were really nice if you can afford it. We just got a sneaky peak! I give the Seminyak Village Resort 2/5.
Really nice place to stay. They accidently put us in a villa which was 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms & our own private pool. When we checked the booking & told them we only paid for a standard room they let us stay in the villa at no extra cost.
Food is SOOOO cheap at the restaurant in the hotel.
Lots of mosquitos in the villa though & they wouldnt pay for bug spray.
I had a problem when paying for the room because it was after hours for reception when we checked in & he didnt know how to use the eftpos machine.I ended up doing it myself.
All other staff spoke good english & were very friendly
Food is SOOOO cheap at the restaurant in the hotel.

- AsiaRooms-Reservation is in US$ (paying in IDR or with credit card means you have to accept the poor hotel exchange rate; we had to bargain to get a better rate)
- you have to pay on arrival
- public areas look a little derelicted
- noisy due to construcions inside the resort

A lovely, out of the way place to stay in seminyak
Off a quiet laneway in north seminyak, the compound of bungalows was still only a short 3 minute walk to Eat Street where numerous restaurants and cafes are easily accessible.
The pool is huge and the staff are lovely and helpful, transporting us to Kuta for free on our last day and arranging a dvd player for no extra charge.
Most rooms on second floor bungalows have a nice balcony with a couch.
Breakfast buffet left a little to be desired, but what saved it was the freshly cooked-to-order omelets and pancakes available.
