Although the room & hotel is small, but it's very clean & nice budget hotel. The room was cleaned up every day. The bed sheet & towel change every day. The location is strategic, near Kuta Central Park.
Nice hotel
Nice hotel, strategy location, clean, I want go back 2 that hotel if I back to bali
Good for the price
The Gosyen is a good location only cost 10 to 20 thousand rupiah for a taxi to the main part of Legian. There is a supermarket, hardware store and massage place within walking distance. The staff are very friendly and the rooms were reasonable for the price.
You get what you pay for
Room was fine. Room was clean. Bed was nice. Poll was on the chilly side, which can also be kind of nice in Bali, as opposed to the ocean, which is warm. I echo the other sentiments about breakfast, not the best. Not the most convenient location, either, but still, one can walk to where the action is in about 10 minutes. For the money, not a bad option, but realize it probably isn't going to be perfect.
best quality price in legian
i live in bali and i must to say, with the asiarooms price, gosyen is definitly the best hotel for that price.it is close by kuta, by scooter or taxi, staff is very nice and helpfull.the room are very good, the simming pol is nice, not amazing but enough for having a swim at the end of the days.the only thing is that there is only the double room who have a views on the outside, the other have a views on the inside of the building, that s the only negative point.

I Loved it here
The Gosyen for me is the perfect location I loved the just out of the way from Kuta Noisey Bar scene it was close enough for me to walk to the bars about 15 min stroll.( A touch is use full as Bali has few street lights)
I cant fault the staff they answered every question I asked with honesty and good advise
The rooms are ideal no balconies but hey quiet and look at the rates for the room. Breakfast was good not exceptional but still good. The Indonesian breakfast is typically rice and Chicken which is what you will get plus Melon, toast, Coffee and Tea If you want more than that I guess you need to up your budget.
The rooms are very comfortable I stayed in a Standard on my way to Jakarta and returned staying in a deluxe Little difference and both have towels and bedding changed daily.
Taxi's are easy to find from here if you cant see one ask the desk they will get one for you and no charge for that. There is a Japanese Restaurant attached to the Hotel I can only call this fine dinning. Typical meal is about 10.00 to 7.50 GBP but it is good food with a beer or 2.
A reasonable taxi rate from the airport is around 75,000 rupiah (5 GBP) The taxi touts try for much more if you are stuck call the Hotel they will send one for you at the correct rate (I was asked for 4 times that on arrival in the airport ).
The Hotel also arranged a day tourist trip at 30.00 GBP to see all the out of town tourist places and this was by a Taxi OMG what else should I ask for.
This place gets a thumbs up from me.
PS. I have travelled to many places in Asia not Thailand but others and this Hotel is great for some one like me

This was a lovely little hotel with friendly staff and good sized rooms. Bathroom a bit on the small size but still nice.
Was a great position for us as we wanted access to Denpasar on a daily basis and had a motorbike to get around on. If you were to reply solely on taxis i think it would be a bit of a pain to stay here.
Overall for us it was great and really enjoyed the stay and will definately stay here again in the future.

Good value
Hotel is ideally situated and close to most popular spots & airport - a short taxi journey. Good value for money for a short stay with a view to experiencing Bali - meaning leaving in the morning and returning to wash & brush and go to bed. Staff are courteous & very helpful and the accommodation was fairly modern, clean and fully functional. Written on 18-02-12
