8 days relaxation
Fairly new resort with very pleasant ambiance. Our room was a poolside room, large bathroom with separate shower and bath, wardrobe and bag area separate from large bedroom and very good air conditioning - 10 steps from the pool and just as far from the poolside bar. The landscaping was lovely, rooms large and vary enormously in design, outlook and position so you should investigate before you book. There are a range of villas with their own private pools, ground floor and upper storey rooms, two public pools, spa and massage centre, good quality restaurant ( casual food, not fine dining). Buffet breakfast was good with slight daily variations. Quiet, suitable for families with very young children; older children would be bored. Close to good shops and a range of good restaurants all on the street right outside the resort. Good sized lobby area with free wifi. Staff very eager to please, though service can sometimes be slow. Issue with cleaning wet areas in bathrooms which the resort should address - with a good scrub! Cars & drivers available.
Value for money
I like the location of the hotel that is lined along shops and restaurants which allows us to venture out for late shopping and walking back to the hotel.
The room is comfortable and quiet. The first 2 days are great until our last and final night when we changed our rooms, the balcony door has a creak on it which allows insects and mosquitoes to find their way in and the air-con is not cool enough. Otherwise, its a good stay.
I didn't like the fact that the hotel included charges for charity without first informing the guest. I need to query about it before they explain to us about the charges. It will be good to highlight to the guests although most guests will be more than happy to include them and to assist them on their good cause.

It was really clean and the room was nice, however, management is a little inflexible - they gave us only one card, even though my friend had requested for one more.

Amadea was a great place to stay,the staff were very good,alway's smiling,very helpfull,when we got there we got an upgrade so that made our trip even better,the swimming pools were very good,breakfast great ,could not say a bad word about amadea resort,we will be back.

Excellent hotel & service!
They were fantastic from the moment we went to the moment we left and thereafter (friends stayed there after we left and we came back). We stayed at 3 hotels and this was the clear winner. Food is good for Bali attempt at western food. Hotel atmosphere is the best and would suit young people up to retiree's ... excellent effort!
