very quiet
we stayed here after checking out of another villa, the staff were amazing very attentive nothing was to much trouble our room was cleaned perfect everyday with fresh flowers on the bed, the pool was great it had a children pool and a big pool all above ground level so our 18mth old didn't just run in. The food was great, free wi fi lots of room to run around lovely gardens and a great price per night. The rooms are not very big but you can open your door and relax at the front or in one of the 3 gazebos they had. There is only 25 rooms and at the time we stayed there was only 8 -10 people they are in the middle of revamping the rooms.
Room's not clean, Breakfast so cold !!!
Room is not clean at all. We arrived around 7.30 pm and booked for 2 rooms. My brother's room just OK but my one its not clean at all. My room smell like their haven't clean at all and I was sneezy all the times also there still have "used soap" in the bathroom O_O'''. But second day after big complain so the room's quite clean. Breakfast has not much thing but the point is fried eggs so cold for both Morning !!! and I try to get a new one but restaurant staffs can't understand.

Nice resort
Overall it was a wonderful stay at this resort. It is a little far from town but there is shuttle that brings you there. (remember to book in advance for the return trip)
The rooms are small for bali standard but very well equiped with flat screen TV (not all hotels in ubud comes with TV) and wifi in room. Bar fridge and hairdryer is also provider.
Only breakfast is alittle disappointing with little choices.
The pool is great just outside your room...water is clean and design of pool is good too...
Will definately stay again.

The Y Resort is a new, modern accomodation, the rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, and the bathrooms are beautiful (either a shower or bath, we had a bath which was huge!) If you are looking for an authentic Balinese experience this is not the place, as it is quite modern, but we were looking for budget friendly accomodation and were very impressed. Rooms have satelitte tv (but no dvd, however there is a dvd in the lounge), minibar, safe, wifi etc. (The wifi can be a bit slow in peak times, we found early to mid morning best) There is also a public computer with internet in the lounge. The resort has a spa (which we didnt use, as it was more expensive than the spa's in Ubud) and a simple restaraunt which serves a generous breakfast from 7.30am - 11am. We went at varying times, early and late, but food was always available. Dinner and drinks at the resort are a little pricey, but again, it isnt far to Ubud. There is a large infinity pool onsite which is kept very clean.
The resort offers a free shuttle every 2 hours to anywhere in Ubud (standard drop off is the palace), or at other times for 10,000Rp per person. The pick up can be a little bit hit and miss (they forgot us three times) but a free call can be made to the resort from the tourist information across from the palace, so its not a big problem, just a few minutes extra to wait. Its also a fairly easy walk to and from the resort to town, we mainly walked, it takes about 15 minutes and is quite scenic, but a good idea to have a torch for walking at night as the road is narrow in places.
On the same stretch of road as the resort there are several warungs, and a funky new bar next door, all of which do great food and reasonable drinks.
Airport transfers are available from the resort, as are transfers to nearby villages, and these are quite reasonable. The laundry service is well priced and takes about 24hrs.
All in all we were very happy.

OK for short stay
The hotel was OK for the price I booked it for. First we got a bigger room at the end of the pool side, but right next to a couple with two small children. It really was very noisy, even at 11 pm when we decided to move to a smaller room not too close to the noisy children. The breakfast is just basic. The biggest surprise was at check out. I booked the room in USD, but payment with credit card is only possible in IRP. The exchange rate between USD and IRP the hotel uses doesn't reflect market price. I got IRP 8520 for 1 USD, but the hotel wanted me to pay IRP 8900 per USD. That's really disappointing. The only option is to pay cash in USD.
wonderful experience
Everything was good except for the breakfast which i think they should have provide more varieties.Pool was amazing. They also provide free shuttle to Ubud Market at selected hours. Overall its a wonderful experience for us in Y Resort and I will come back again.

We only stayed for one night at this hotel but we love this hotel!! the swimmingpool, the room, the gazebo, peaceful n quiet place, a great place to stay. The service is excellant and the staff are friendy. highly recomended!!
