The best hotel for this trip
I stayed at 3 different hotels for my visit this time to Jakarta and Bandung. Among them, this is the best hotel. Not only the friendly staff, i love the bed. It was very comfy and every morning, i felt like just been energized. The in room dining service was fantastic! I would recommend nasi bakar komplit! Only breakfast spread was a bit limited but not dissappointing. As i put my remark during booking, we were surprised to receive a welcoming and greeting card from the general manager. The same remark i wrote for three hotels only this hotel consider my request and it ready before we checked in. Highly recommended!
Real Holiday
The staff at Holiday Inn, Bandung made us feel so welcome and at home!!!.
The location is close to most things that we might need - factory outlet, pasar baru, airport.
Very quiet rooms with all the essential toiletries provided.
Numerous English movie and programs and news TV channels.
Security was tight - feel safe.
Airport/Hotel/Airport transportation provided fro free of charge.

Good, cleand, friendly and very strategic location
Lobby closed for renovation
I went to stay in this hotel wt my husband. First of all, the whole lobby n first floor is closed for renovation. So, u check-in through a small entrance. For the amount of money u pay, this is just an eye sore. Then the receptionist told us to wait half an hour for the room to be cleaned. We ended up waiting almost an hour at the bar for it. Then, we got to our superior room which was really small. The bed was small too. The carpets were looking really old n the furniture was very shabby. The bathroom looked like it was a ten year old bathroom n really small. The only good thing abt our stay was the breakfast. All in all, the hotel is way too over-priced for the situation it is in now. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone...

Service was good, staff responded promptly to our requests, especially from Housekeeping, unlike other places (in Indonesia) I have been before, where they would say `Ya Pak!`(Yes Sir) but very slow to respond. The breakfast provided was also very good. Almost every staff we met was friendly. They readily provide us guidance and directions whenever we wanted to leave the hotel on our own - despite some of them were manning the hotel's transport service. The location is also very good, easily reached by taking the `Angkut`, which is damn cheap.

The service is impeccable and it started...
The service is impeccable and it started even before i arrived. I had difficulties in receiving confirmation from asiarooms.com so I called the hotel directly to enquire my booking. The reservation personel - YUDI - was extremely helpful and helped to ease my anxiety over the booking. The staff are very polite. Breakfast was good but the beefburger i ordered through room service was soggy. Overall i would stay in holiday inn bandung again.

We stayed three nights at the Holiday Inn Bandung because of the location and the pool facility for our daughter of eight. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast buffet was good. But we were disappointed with the overall condition of the hotel. We will not stay here again.
