My stay at Mutiara
The staff were accomadatingm my wife was happy with the hotel and the lunch we had was excellent. We will go back there again.
Ok but too old for my taste
The room abit gloomy.. Furniture wood antique.. Quite oldish.. Disturbing wall picture especially e eye Bali thingy.. Glowing at night.. Not for e faint hearted.. Toilet quite old.. Bathtub can throw away already.. Haha.. Just my opinion. But overall stayable.. Small pool though. Location ok.. Price ok..
Family Trip to Bandung
I was not happy with the room arrangement whereby I've already requested for connecting room earlier the front desk staff informed connecting room was not available as been taken by guest from jakarta which resulted the other room for my kids been allocated 1 room next to my room i.e. 209, my room in 207. as i highlighted to him that booking was made much more earlier than the other guest, he just kept silence. I don't want to get further upset just take those rooms. as for breakfast menu all the same for 3 days . From my experience I will not recommend for my friend or family members check in this hotel.

Hotel room is extremely old and small.Bad ambiance.Breakfast choice is limited. Not worth the price of the hotel room; however the staff is indeed helpful and friendly when we wanted to shift to the other hotel nearby the next day

We booked 3 rooms, all supposed to be of double room. We end up with 2 doubles and one 2 single bed.
We were charged about Malaysian Ringgit RM500 per room for 3 nights when making reservation through AsiaRoom, but when we were asked to pay, we were charged in Indonesian Rupiah with their fixed exchange rate, which amounting to RM527. Though we realised that the currency rate may differs from the time of booking till the actual date, we don't think it would be that much.
We were caught by surprise when we were 'asked' to settle our bills during checking in, and not during checking out, which is not a common practice.
Besides that, the service is fine and acceptable for the price that we paid.

Good Location for people transiting in Bandung who wants to be closer to the train station.
The place is -very- noisy (close to a road used all day long) but the location is very strategic (about 200 m from the train station).

On checking in I was given a small room at the far end of the hotel on the first floor and the room was not worth the USD39.00 per night I paid for.I complained but was told that there was no other rooms available though I had booked months earlier.When I insisted they showed me a number of rooms that were still vacant.You have to complain to get your money's worth.I finally settled for a room on the ground floor near the Tiara Cafe.The room was OK but need to be rid of mosquitoes and cockroaches.Overall rating is fair.

The room was perfectly fine for me. Will be good if they could provide extra pillows. The towel given by them is not good enough. It has some kind of smell and it does not wipe properly. Please bring your own towel. The people there are friendly. Overall is a nice place to stay for budget travellers.
