nice hotel for a good price, lots of foods available in the surrounding
Refurbishment is due
Hotel location was good, within walking distance to Pasar Baru and Kartika Sari cake shop. Also, very near the train station. Room size (Deluxe) with 2 queen-size bed is comfortable for me and 3 children.
The swimming pool area is nice. However, it would be good if the water could be heated. I noticed many children are complaining of the cold water and they could not enjoy the pool very much.
However, the rooms definitely need a refurbishment. Carpet is quite soiled already. The pillows need to be changed. So do the towels.

overall hotel is good but need to improve some more on breakfast menu facilities
you can definitely do much better in bandung
1. Location is so out of the way from the shopping district of chiempelas and Jalan Riau/Dago where all the factory outlets are. It took me 2 hours to get out of sunday traffic downtown to head to the hotel. Unless you intend to shop in Pasar Baru - where the locals do most of their shopping - you're better off looking for a better hotel smack downtown.
2. room is clean, with a computer and good internet connectivity.
3. staff quite helpful except for an incompetent few who really damage the hotel's reputation. I was shocked that the hotel insisted om charging me an additional rp250,000 just because I had placed 1 of the 2 beds on the floor (to accommodate my children). They insisted on charging me for what they described as the use of an extra bed although I had never requested for an extra bed or had one sent to me. I told them that wasn't fair as it was merely placing the matress on the floor but the good for nothing receptionist (a lady) said I was more than welcome to carry the bed and place it in its original position to avoid being charged. This is something housekeeping could have easily attended to instead of asking a guest to do it which tantamounts to an insult. I eventually went back upstairs to the room to lift the bed to its original position which took no more than 2 minutes.

5. food - not the best but not bad. You are better off taking a cab to the nearby nasi padang restaurant for a sumptuous meal.
6. room view - the view i had was of the backyard of a squatter area and bus depot. hopeless.
i strongly advise anyone who has shopping in mind, to avoid staying in this hotel simply for its downright poor location.

Golfing trip
Staff were wonderful, they were friendly and welcoming. The location is close to the train station. Food is both western and indonesia. Romms are clean with fridge and wi-fi.
I loved this hotel as it was my first stay here, it has become my hotel of choice for Bandung.

Perfect location...
Neva have been to Bandung before, my colleague and I didn't know what to expect. We decided to catch a 3hr train ride from Jakarta instead of flying into Bandung (to save money!)
We were pleasantly surprised to find Arion Swiss located just next to the train station in Bandung. Only a 5 min walk away. How convenient! Even though we arrived in the dark of night, Arion was easily spotted from the train station and there was no chance of getting lost.
The Arion Swiss executive rooms were very spacious. Very well-maintained. And the best thing of all, there's a pc in the room with free internet! We were constantly updating our friends back home on our travels and shopping in Indonesia.
The staff was very helpful in arranging transport (cabs) to the various shopping sites. They recommended places to shop for local delicacies (in Pasar Baru) and foreign brands (heaps of factory outlets!); all within 20 min max of cab drive (in heavy traffic). We would have liked to go sight-seeing in Bandung eg. hot springs, nature walks and strawberry farms, but the rainy weather dampened those plans.
Most of the staff was fluent in English too; commendable for their great effort to cater to foreign guests.
Overall, we loved our stay at Arion Swiss Belhotel! Highly recommend it for those wanting to get away from bustling streets of Indonesia yet close to shopping hotspots.

Good stay in Bandung
The Hotel is clean and quite, staffs are friendly, price is good. The small minor thing I found was it was only 1 hotel slippers in a room for two peoples and stand by taxi in hotel wasn't use taxi meter thus we paid much more expensive for only a short distance. But the rest are OK.
Good accommodation
The room was very clean and also easy to extend without need to move to the other room (the administration was OK). I impressed in computer and internet speed in the room.

Location, room size & staff friendliness ok. Bit old and in much need of renovation. Very dirty bathroom and carpet. Very dirty sauna & poolside change room. Though I informed the Housekeeping as well as reception staff, both nodded and assured me that matter will be looked into. I was there for nights/4days and nothing was done.
