House of Horrors
When we first arrived, we were greeted by a huge and loud cement mixture right in front of the "hotel". The whole place was under major extension and the reception gave us a room just beside the renovation. The room was dusty, the toilet was dirty with stains, the toilet seat was detached from the toilet, the walls have unknown stains and water marks of different shades and the tiny tv occassionaly works if you are patient enough to wait for the pictures to turn up. The hotel manager told us that the cement mixturer vehicle will be gone in the evening and the renovation will end in December 2010. When we came back in the evening, we were greeted by the rest of the "hotel" occupants who were consists of only local men, who were sitting and loitering along the corridoor, who are only clad in shorts, kept their room doors opened and stared at us as if we are some zoo exhibits. They woke up at around 5 am and was shuffling along the corridoor. The walls were so thin that you can hear their conversation and the sound of tv and running water. We checked out first thing the next morning and the other occupants were having their breakfast sitting on the floor along the corridoor and were staring again. It was a scary experience for us and we will never ever return.
