Goodway Hotel
The people are friendly but the toilet was not as clean as expected. The balcony was very dirty. We literally paid for extra space for balcony without using it. Bed was soft but pillow sheet was a bit yellowish.
A place to relax and value for money.
Very friendly staffs, nice breakfast with many varieties and about 10 to 15 minutes walk to Nagoya Hill Shopping Centre.
I've read some of the reviews before my visit to Goodway hotel, some were generous, some were bad. After paying a short visit, i can tell those who left negative feedback are rather greedy - ie expecting a 6 star hotel facility & service whilst they are only prepared to pay for price of motel. In my short visit in Goodway, all staff were very friendly & courteous whilst location was right in the middle of NED and the price i've got thru asiarooms were 'cheap as chips'. Room was in a very tidy condition, pool was very clean so i don't have much to bitch & moan like some of the others BUT the only thing was that the sliding door latch required a bit of trick to lock/unlock but a minor thing that caused no major headache :-)
perfect for a short getaway
If you're looking for a short getaway this place is perfect. It is near to Nagoya Hill, which the main shopping area and to Golden prawn, the famous seafood place. The only downside to the area we had was to find a decent pub to relax after dinner. Overall we had a wonderful room facing the pool with a balcony, the hotel staff was friendly and efficient. I would definitely come back to Goodway again.

A good hotel with spacious room.The front desk,housekeeping,bellhop,security and coffee house staff were friendly and accomodating guest well.My only request is the toilet bowl cover should be changed as it is old and not in proper working condition.
Was given a room where bed linnen was not changed from previous customer. Mattress cover all soiled with blood, ..... and other human discharges. Toilet paper had to ask for as only an almost finished roll was left. Floor was not swept and cleaned properly after last use.
Room though a suite was booked looks just over the rubbish collection point of the hotel at the back.
Hotel location not so nice as well.
Hotel also advertises massage services and then it is only available in room as there is no SPA.
Breakfast services at counter very slow when hotel was busy which when you look at it all it requires additional staff and proper industrialised equipment.
Pool nicely photographed in advertisement but a small condo pool is larger.
Hotel only suitable for a short business trip maybe.
Have stayed in many hotels and this was one of those disappointing hotels that make you regret the money spent.
Good value for your money
Stayed there overnight and all I can say is the hotel is so perfect except for the outdoor swimming pool. It's very small but we didn't go there to swim so it's okay.
Cheap and good
Very affordable hotel with comfy big beds even for single beds.
