Very good!!
We really enjoyed our five days staying at Nirwana Resort Hotel. Staff was very friendly and smiling and always ready to help. Hotel was pretty quiet on weekdays but we enjoyed spending time on the quiet pool area and beach that located next to the hotel. I have nothing bad to say and would stay at the hotel again. Thanks!
from excellent to good to worse
I have been in bali for the past two years and made a terrible mistake in coming in Bintan
the food at Nirwana resort Hotel charge like a 5 Stars hotel and give you worse then street food .
disappointing , breakfast quality is the same, Pool menu , not even descent salads and teh list goes on ... etc....

The location is superb, being on a lovely beach. alcohol far too expensive a poor bottle of wine at £75 is ridiculous,
Good customer service but room looks tired
I stayed there in end Feb and enjoy a quite stay (not peak season) The customer service and room service was good. I called for ice and clean towels and they were delivered very quickly (maybe due to low season)
The room given was near the beach overlooking the swimming pool which I feel thankful. I paid for Deluxe double but were a tad disappointed by the quality of the room. The toilet could have been better and the tub looks a bit old. with what I was paying, I could have a better room. The food is quite expensive and price is like Singapore standard.
Love the free shuttle bus to a few places including going to the Kelong seafood place.
Try out the sea sports and rent a snorkeling set (mask, flippers and vest) at SGD$15 for 4 hours and we had fun.
If the room quality could improve and the price of food to be lower by another 10 to 20%, that will be wonderful.

Tons of activities
Paid extra for a deluxe room with seaview/pool views, but as we were on the ground floor, could only see the sea/pool if I cranked my head to one side. The deluxe rooms do not have balconies, which I was very disappointed about. There are loads of activities within the complex, but you are charged for virtually everything - even playing a game of pool. I was very impressed with them having a 10 pin bowling alley and a mini zoo. The buffet breakfast was very disappointing, with food often being cold. The restaurants are very spread out, some even requiring the use of the courtesy bus, but the food was very good. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.
Peaceful ..!
Spent 4 nights in the Nirwana resort hotel in a delux room with a sea or pool view when I arrived in the room My view was the pool bar.! when I asked reception where the views were he said it's not actually a sea or pool view so be careful when booking you don't get a view..!
When we arrived in the room there were no bathrobes or towels took 3 hours to get towels and the same for the next 3 days never did got bathrobes.The room was ok bed was comfy but the bathroom needs updating badly ..
The best place to eat is the Dino restaurant as it was all cooked in front of you and very fresh,it is quiet expensive to eat in the resort especially if you are with a family.
The pool is excellent, the beach is stunning to look at but beware of the black tar..also needs more sun beds on the beach..
The staff are extremely helpful and friendly ..

Bintan
We booked a deluxe room and weren't impressed. Quality of fittings require upgrade to have a phrase such as deluxe. Damp smell in the room. We complained and had to pay for an upgrade. They were pleasant in trying to resolve but when you are on a remote island there is not a great deal of choice on the door step to just leave and find somewhere of better quality. Breakfast food OK but a bit repetitive. Beach and sea good. Pool great and the activities and shopping attached is of very good quality
