A nice clean spacious room by a good beach and on the quieter cleaner part of the island. It was a bit of a hassle to get a horse taxi into the town each night as only a few bars/rests within walking distance and its dark if you are alone although safe enough. I enjoyed staying in this part of the island and easy to hire bikes and cycle round in the day. Only complaint was no wifi in room which was a pain and it wasnt a great connection in the lobby either but hey you are on a desert island after all! Also, the breakfast could have been a lot better considering the room rate (I had a better food at cheaper hotels on my trip). The range was limited and often ran out early. But room and location great and friendly staff.
enjoy the Gillies in comfort
the hotel is set on the north of the island on a safe good sorkelling beach . It is a 10 minute walk to the bustling island strip.
The staff were very friendly and helpful . The hotel was very comfortable unfortunately we had some minor problems eg toilet seat broken fridge not working which staff sorted for us.
Young people would probably want to be more central but others looking for a more relaxed holiday snorkelling and watching fabulous sunsets sipping a cocktail will not be disappointed
GREAT HOTEL
The Hotel is very very nice and the staf extremely friendly. The room was very big and comfortable and it is a one story hotel with individual rooms arranged as independent houses.
This hotel is located in one of the best parts of Gili Trawangan. It has a wonderful beach and snorkling in front of the hotel is superb.
I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Gili T.
Lovely rooms, great quiet location
We stayed at Villa Grasia during low season (early April) and loved it. The resort was quiet, and is about a 20-minute walk into the centre of Gili Trawangan. This was perfect for us, as we didn't want to be close to the noise of the bars and busy beaches.
The rooms were very clean and well equipped. The bed was comfortable (and huge), and the shower is great. Air conditioning works very well and is quiet. We didn't use the main pool as the beach was lovely and you can rent fins from the front desk to go snorkelling on the beach right out front (I personally think this should be free). Happy hour is a great way to wind down before heading out to dinner. Would definitely visit again.
Dissapointing
Unfortunately Vila Grasia did not meet our expectations.
Day 1 we contended with dirty bed sheets on check-in, and no fresh towels. We immediatey rang reception and we were promised new sheets and towels, however 5 hours later we were still waiting and we had to resort to calling three times to continously remind the staff.
The breakfast which was included was very substandard and my partner one night ordered banana pancakes which i was sure was impossible to get wrong , however we were proven otherwise.
On the positive the location of the resort was great, the room was modern and comfortable , however no dvd player and no iron(basic ammenities i think every resort should have.

Nice Place but dissapointing service
Grasia was a very nice hotel but did come with a couple of issues. The room was very nice. Very spacious and clean however as the room was so big the air con unit couldn't cope with the size and pointed away from the bed so was quite warm at night. The bathroom also had floor to ceiling windows meaning the morning sun came straight in heating it up like a greenhouse.
There was no one on reception after around 11pm as we returned twice to have to find our key from the unlocked cupboard behind the desk which didn't fill us with too much confidence.
The staff although very friendly could have been more attentive forgetting something on just about every meal (we only had breakfast) Seemed also like the staff were made up from young people with little or no direction from management meaning you idn't quite know who to ask for things. You also pay a service charge of 20% ish on food & Drink which a bit of a joke when you don't have your dirty plates cleared resuting in a large number of flies.
All in all it was a nice place but do think that the management need to be more visible and not hide in the back.

I have asked pick up at the pier? No body??
I have asked the boat trip it was too complicate, mr kim said me ok at 14,00 but i'm waiting till 14,30 no body, after 14.45 he said ok the boat is here sorry i don't waiting as the pick up on the pier???? For the check in we arrive at 12,00 in hotel but we are waiting till 13.30???
