The hotel is old and the location...
The hotel is old and the location is a little out of the city. The room was in very old bad condition and was really less than 3 star and in desperate need of renovation or detonation.
The bedsheets were torn,the floor was not vacumed over the 3 days and visible rubbish on the floor was not cleaned.
My friend was on a club floor which was renovated and very nice, but for the same money he could have stayed at the Grand Hyatt and had real 5 star service & environment.
Definately would not recommend this hotel as there is far better value at other hotels at half the price and twice the quality. we drove past really nice and large local 4 star hotels that advertised $40-50 rates outside. If you want to save, search for better value.
I am shocked as a Hyatt Club Member that Hyatt put their name to this hotel.
Oh, and by the way the tavern in the basement is really the last chance bar for over the hill prostitutes chasing over the hill expats, really very sad to observe.
The food was good however.
