A First Class Hotel perfect rooms 1A service!!!!!!!!

The room service is terrible. The housekeeping was terrible not because they didn't clean the place well, but because they didn't clean at all. I left to Singapore for two nights, and left my things at the hotel. The reception was very understanding and helped us through the process. But when we came back we found that housekeeping did not clean the room, plus they came in every day to put the newspaper on the luggage. Our blankets were on the floor and one blanket (for the baby cot) was missing. I ordered many things from the room service, there is always something missing or wrong. Sometimes they had to come just for missing spoons!!! I had a problem with the bath-tub, the water did not go quickly, thus after a shower, one would leave the tub while water and soap is still floating.
As I said the reception was very understanding and helpful (although they had to type the bill for three times until they had the correct sum). The place is very nice, the location is great and the conceriege was always on time.

The bathroom and surrounding carpet were mouldy and looks rather 'rundown'. The TV wasn't working at all! The staff help and attention were excellent in every aspects of customer empathy and requests. Maybe a full uplift of appearance and outfit would boost the overall image of the hotel. Good value and still can be better, next time upon my forthcoming visit.

The Ciputra Hotel Jakarta is a decent 4 star hotel with a stategic location only 20 minutes from the international airport. The big, clean, classical lobby sets the tone for the rest of the hotel. Although it faces the road, relaxing and well-equipped rooms are quiet. Rooms all have city views and feature a slight tribal and contemporary theme, in keeping with the hotel. Facilities are good enough to meet the needs of business guests and the pool, fitness centre and spa are all up to 4 star standards. There's only one restaurant, but the enormous shopping complex next door provides extra choice - and there's even guest discounts available at some shops. As with most Jakarta hotels, service can be a little mixed. Some staff are very helpful, others perhaps lack a little initiative or motivation, something the Ciputra is actively seeking to improve. Overall though, this is a very fair hotel for this price. It tends to appeal to business guests and transiting travellers due to its great location, cleanliness and fine value for money.
