BAD EXPERIENCE never again
The hotel entry experience was poor did not understand the difference about paying cash instead of swiping credit card that was used for booking they wanted both. The room was OK but tired. A 5 star hotel does not have old linen worn out towels and a shower over the bath - at least they had abundant hot water. The rate booked was in Rupiah but Asia Rooms changed it without my knowledge to Dollars - I lost on exchange and the room rate went up as well from 90800 IDR to 94500 IDR. I booked without breakfast - the rate with breakfast was 1,010,000 Rupiah I changed my mind and was charged not 102,000 rupiah but 175,000 Rupiah and you had to pay at the restaurant. You could not charge to your room and pay on check out. The internet was 90,000 rupiah and hour and 160,000 per day very expensive in Indonesian hotels in most 5 stars its either free or very cheap. A totally disconcerting experience. I would not stay there again and I would not recommend to anyone. I incidentally work building and commissioning resort and luxury villa/ boutique hotels in Indonesia
