The Ibis Mangga Dua hotel provides a good accommodation at a reasonable price. Only the breakfast that appeared not be included in the reservation was relatively expensive. For business purposes the location is not optimal. I hoped to do some shopping but upon arrival in the hotel at about 8 pm., the shopping malls already closed down. Although located in the apparently vibrant Mangga Dua area, there is no entertainment within walking distance from the hotel. You will enjoy a long and quiet night!
very friendly especially Jeane at the front desk she is most helpful. I asked for a adapter for my PC and within 5 mins they delivered to my room. The room is nice and a comfy king size bed.

Ibis mangga dua
I arrived on the 27th August 2011 at the hotel, after checking the computer room reservation list the reception was able to locate my name and room type booked. I used my card to pay for the deposit of the room. Eventually during check out I requested to pay with cash which was allowed by the staff , the credit card charge slip was returned to me (merchant copy). as of writing this review the charge was still in my account. Due to my quite late arrival I was unable to go out and eat dinner(It was 0900pm already). So me and my wife decided to take dinner at the only restaurant located on the ground floor of the hotel. Some of the food (buffet) was okay but the soup of the day was very very salty (not recommended for those of hpertension treatment), the soup I mean.
The room to my surprise was very spacious, a very big bed. It was also clean and the daily room makeover were also good.
But be prepared to be given a rude wakeup by some overzealous children of the hotel occupants, talking and sometime shouting outside your room.
Overall i am quite satisfied with our stay at this hotel and aims to come back again in the future, despite some of the negative experiences we went thru.

We have been only for some hours waiting for other flight, but quality/price was good.
The room was clean and comfortable.
I recommended for stay one or two days.
The room is equipped with the necessary fitttings/functions based on the cheap room rate that one pays for. Good point is they provide free internet access. Access to shopping centres is only afew mins. walk.
Otherwise, food wise is nothing to rave about. Had breakfast there and was very disappointed by the very limited, non-appeitizing selection. Could have gotten a very hearty meal elsewhere with the amount paid.
Would recommend only to those who is seeking for budget accomodation.

No Frills...Recommended
The hotel location is great if u r looking for some local stuff and IT products. I was greeted with a smile by the receptionist Miss Diaz. She was helpful and answered my queries. Keep up the good effort.
Good for Biz. people.
Logistically good as its walking distance to wholesale malls thus avoiding traffic jams. Outside food easily reachable in the shopping malls.Rooms quite clean.
