Pretty Decent Hotel
Hotel is in a very good central location; walking distance to Grand Indonesia and surrounding areas. If you're on a pretty tight budget and looking for a relatively decent hotel in a good location then this is probably your best bet

The billing was somewhat confusing. I was billed for laundry I never requested for. The room rate was initially at Rp 502,000./day. When I asked if it was based on the $54/night and what exchange rate it was based on, the front desk lady adjusted it to Rp 482,490 at an exchange rate of $1 to Rp 8950 but the hotel rate was $1 to Rp 8350 only . Its close vicinity to Tanah Abang is a plus factor thought. Janitorial services has mcuh to be desired and has to be improved. Cleaning men pick up bathroom floor mats wnd throw garbage with bare hands, (aren,t they suppose to use gloves as precautionary measures for any infectious or pathologig wastes they may get in contact with?); they also wash the cups and saucers and teaspoons with bare hands (ew!yuck!)Hotel should also protect the health not only of customers but of their staff by training them safe handling of wastes and sanitation. I noticed that for the same room price the amenities in each Ibis Hotel are not the samae. At Ibis Mannga Dua where I stayed in a previous trip, there was a hair dryer in the bathroom.

Everything is OK, its just that room is too small especially for 2 adults (standard room for 2). Location is perfect since it's only 5-10 minutes cab ride depending on traffic to Monas and Gambir train station. Walking distance to 2 malls nearby and around 15-20 minutes cab ride to the 2 great malls of Jakarta. Service is OK, staffs are friendly and accommodating and would stop what they're doing to answer questions. Delivery of food though takes a long while, well, as well as other places and hotels in Indonesia, so probably to be expected. Overall, it's a good hotel.

All of the staff were adequately trained to impress their guests. No problem with communication as they can understand and speak English well. It's worth what I paid for.

We liked the breakfast very much, there's a lot of choice. The hotel has a good location, you can walk to the national monument, and the Gambir station is also just 10 minutes walking.

Nice location, good breakfast, attentive staff. For the price of US$54 it's value for money. Blue bird taxi is always available infront of the hotel.
