Very satisfied
At first blush, the hotel is a bit removed from the central Sudirman shopping/entertainment district. However, the hotel more than made up for this by its emphasis on cleanliness, cheerfulness and functionality. The hotel's colour theme is orange and this makes the place bright and cheerful. The staff is exceptionally well trained, young, neatly attired, always smiling and ever helpful. The rooms and meals are functional but adequate for the business traveler or those on a budget.
I did not try the wifi in the room, so cannot comment on this but a colleague who was in another room said the connection was slow.
I shall be happy to stay at this hotel again on another visit.

I was pleasently shocked to get a special offer from asia rooms for this hotel at USD 7.55 . While checking in , i realised that there is a mistake and hotel is claiming to have price of USD 75.5 .. I had no choice while checking in and agreed to pay what hotel claims.
However, when i contacted asiarooms customer service , they were prompt enough to update hotel to give special rate even though there seemed to be a mistake ..
I am very glad that they agreed and i finally paid only 7.5 USD for this very nice room. Wifi is slow but its no problem compared to what i paid .. But even at 75 USD , the hotel is very nice and trendy. Only minus is location which is slighly off from toll road

I stayed in the Harris Tebet before...
I stayed in the Harris Tebet before and it was exactly the same again, including the non-working wireless internet. Hotel, service and room are modern, clean and nothing to complain about. But they still did not fix the WLAN signal which is so weak that it is completely unusable. I don't understand why that wasn't fixed yet. Last time I had to talk with the "IT responsible" for about 1 hour, this time I arrived so late that I was too tired to argue with the staff again.

Checking in was a breeze. Was offered freshly squeezed orange juice whilst checking in. Very nice gesture and the juice was quite good. Loved the lobby. Clean lines, airy and uncluttered. Very young staff and the uniforms make this hotel a rather hip and trendy one. Staff was friendly. Indonesians generally are. Room was good. Loved the orange colour that was all over the hotel. I have to agree that the wireless connection in the rooms was very weak. Kept getting disconnected. Bathroom was rather tiny but functional. So was the wardrobe. Breakfast was not great, small spread but sufficient. Rather tasty. Best yogurt i've had in a while. The only drawback that i could see with this hotel is the location, but that also depends on the purpose of your visit to Jakarta. Being near the CBD makes it quite ideal. Shopping and entertainment is further off, but being in Jakarta, the horrendous traffic jam makes anywhere you stay feels the same in terms of how long it takes to go anywhere. I would definitely re-visit this hotel. The price was right, service faultless, amenities basic but good.

It was an OK hotel for someone on a budget who prefers a hotel rather than a guesthouse.
The breakfast was quite good except the rooms had very thin walls so you can hear literally everything which goes on next door to you. The staff had poor English communication skills and the wireless internet in the rooms was just too slow to be able to use.
