I requested a non smoking room and...
I requested a non smoking room and I did not get it, after several complaint later in the day we got a chance to move to a non smoking floor and it was OK.
The location has many contruction going on and the Hotel in under renovation, the rooms are very old.

The services provided including breakfast, cleanliness and security are OK. The rate for using the internet is Rp20,000 per hr. There is no free service.
The Hotel is in the middle of a old small factory area and look dirty . We have to walk or take a taxi for 2 to 4 km to find a good restaurant or shopping area. Mangga 2 Shopping Complex is also a let down,nothing much to buy here. Tanah Abang is much better.

I Stayed there for three nights with...
I Stayed there for three nights with my wife. Overall the hotel is well run and clean. Though it is not the cheapest hotel in the pangeran jayakarta area, nevertheless the staff are very courteous, the buffet spread for breakfast is acceptable and the room and bath is reasonably large. It offers value for money. However, the location is a bit out from the (nearest) main shopping area of mangga dua, fortunately it can be easily reached by hailing a bajaj,which would cost
only rp 8,000 per one way. There was an incident when the housekeeping maid without our approval has taken our dirty laundry for cleaning when we were out on the second day. The charge came up to rp 65,000 and we disputed it since we had never made such request.
The office manager reluctantly absorb the cost claiming that it will be deducted from his pay. We think that this is his folly for being presumptous and trying to increase the contribution of staying guests by creative means. Notwithstanding that, I would still like to visit jakarta again in the future and I wont mind staying at quality hotel again.
