This is my first time going to Jakarta with my husband. We never thought we'll reach here. Never..Before going to Jakarta, I do some research from internet. More I read, more frightened I was.
Anyway, Sparks Hotel was changed my perception about all the negative comments. I felt very welcome at the first time I reach to the lobby. With helpful staff I get my room less than 10 minutes. Its ok for me to get double bed eventhough I am looking for queen size bed. I am only quite surprise with the size of the room (too small) but I still can accept it.
The location good enough. I can walk to Lokasari Plaza especially to HARI HARI SWALAYAN (supermarket) and PT MATAHARI PUTRA PRIMA (fashion mall). Its took 10-15 minutes to MANGGA DUA MALL, MANGGA DUA SQUARE, WTC MANGGA DUA, ITC MANGGA DUA, PASAR PAGI MANGGA DUA and so on. I just need to asked the reception for BLUE BIRD taxi and the taxi reach within 5-8 minutes.
About the breakfast menu, I do like the porridge. The pancake also good and I luv honey that used by hotel. Its so nice when I asked one of the waiter what kind of honey they use, the waiter go inside the kitchen and bring along the bottle of honey to show me. Fantastic! Thank you....
Anyway, I think Spark hotel should give free WIFI in the guess room.
Lastly, based my perception, may be I will come again to Jakarta. There are a lot of place I still not cover.
