You don't get what you book!
We booked at room which showed a double bed and a sofa bed for 2 children - on arrival we had to pay for an extra bed the hotel does not have any rooms with a sofa bed for children.The information provided on the website is not what you get! We also had to change dollars into the local currency as the hotel refused to accept any other currency other than their own! The bathroom was so run down that the bath tub had been repainted so many times you could see the layers of paint peeling away, tiles were broken on the floor, the sink and toilet needed replacing! The only great thing about it was actually the breakfast on offer! We ended up cancelling 3 nights and moving out - the Reception staff have no empathy how long you might have travelled to get there with children - showed no compassion - unfortunately it was all about how much more moeny they get out of you!

everything,but the food was near excellent
The dining experience was superb with one catch, any meat, be it fish, lamb, beef or creepy things were always over cooked, and served less than hot. Even cold. but there is one bright spot I wish I had known earlier, a Restaurant named Sinbad''s not more than 2 minutes walk north of the Hotel next to a gas station served the most tender meats we have ever eaten. Even the bones were tender. Ha-ha. And the price was 1/3 the cost of The Santika Premiere. that is the spot to dine. dine out.

Nice Hotel but Questionable Service and Faclities
Would not recommend this hotel.
Check into the hotel around 10 pm, feeling really tired after a long day of work and follow by dinner with customers. Check in was a little slow but acceptable. Then the electronic key dosen't open the room door. The bell hop came over with my luggage was tryin help but fail. Told to wait and he came back with another key which still fails. Told me to wait and came back 5 minutes with another staff whom also fail to open the door with master key. My request for room change was turn down and told to wait again. 10 minutes later came round a Housekeeper and he manage to open it.
F & B outlet is limited. Only Cafe and a Chinese Resturant. No bar and an empty lobby lounge where drinks are serve from Cafe one floor below.

The apperance of the hotel is good.Rooms are comfortable.But e food in the restaurant is very expensive.Better double confirm the prices before you order.Service taxes are more.Far from the city. swimming pool is not that much good.Friendly staff.

The santika in Jakarta had a very...
The santika in Jakarta had a very good breakfast selection. The rooms were clean and the staff are friedly. TThe pool smelled of raw saewerage. When you sit on the toilet your head will be pressed up against the wall.
