We were on business and decided to extend our stay for a few days luxury _ city break. The hotel fitted our requirement and we were satisfied.
I would like to tick the City Break box below but dont feel this would be appropriate, not because of a failing on the Hotel, but for a complete absence of Tourist Information easily available in Jakarta!!
We live in Thailand, and in contrast there are racks of leaflets in the baggage reclaim area at BKK and CNX airports. Every Taxi has adverts for tourist destinations, and restaurants and hotel lobbies have free tourist guides and maps.
I would recommend that the hotel could take the lead by having a rack of tourist information.

was just there for 1 night.
it's easy to go to airport , that was my main concern , knowing jkt traffic... , and not too far from the center... but you always have to rely on taxi

My wife and I stayed at the Menara for two nights and we were very pleasantly surprised considering what we paid (about $65 US). The lobby definitely gives a great first impression and I was worried that the quote we got from the Internet was wrong. It wasn't.
General service was excellent. The front desk staff were very nice and helpful as was the concierge. However, we were disappointed in the restaurants as the wait staff was not as efficient as their counterparts. Also, the food was just average and slightly overpriced.
Our room was clean and the bed could not have been more comfortable. The size, too, was sufficient for two people and their luggage.
Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Menara and would recommend it to others as it was clean, reasonably priced and only about a 20-30 minute cab-ride to the airport.

There is no internet connection in the room. I have to go all the way down to level 1 or 2. Not all program listed in the program sheet can be watch.
I was backpacking around south east asia...
I was backpacking around south east asia but stayed here the night before my long flight back to the UK so treated myself to a good hotel. Was fantastic hotel, great value for money, good service, lovely quiet room. Bit far from the airport (40 mins drive) but for the money was great value compared to expensive hotels closer to the airport.

A hotel with good value for money,...
A hotel with good value for money, very good location as it is near the highway so getting to and from the airport is convenient. From the hotel it is also convenient to go to the CBD and other major parts of the city as well as the Kota.
Most suitable for business travellers, although holidaymakers would also find this hotel very convenient.
I have been staying in this hotel for the last 7-8 years each time I visit Jakarta.
