Upon checking in , was told that we have no reservation. We have to show all the printouts and they insist that our check in dates were 05-08Apr which we have changed to 06-08Apr there serious communication which also left us with no accommodation. The only good reason to stay at this hotel is the location which is great, it sure save time on transportation.
Staffs were efficient and friendly...but some upgrading needs to be done
Our stay was pleasant and convenient as it's walking distance to 2 big malls...ITC Kuningan and Ambassador but most of the shops close from 7pm. It's about 45mins journey to Tanah Abang from the hotel and close to 2hrs to the airport during peak hours. Hotel food is not fantastic, better food can be found in the malls. There were 2 families staying in 2 rooms 'Mars & Venus' on the 30th floor. Rooms plus bathrooms were very large and spacious. Hotel lifts uses card swipe to go up so it's a hassle if your family wants to split up and it doesn't work properly to enter the room but hotel staffs are always ready to help. The spa provides services to the rooms so after a long day shopping, having a massage in the comfort of your own room is fantastic. The most outrageous is a five star hotel with Wifi only at the lobby which is infested with mosquitos! Some handyman works need to be done in the bathrooms as some taps and such are falling off but other than that all is good.

Nice, but a few things were a bit disappointing.
- Extra charge for a cup of peppermint tea at breakfast, instead of the ordinary tea.
- 20.000 rupiah for ten minutes of internet use. We went to the nearest internet cafe and got 20 mins + two printed pages for 8.000 rupiah. Embarrasing for a five star hotel to charge their guests for internet use.

Manhattan was well-kempt , room was spacious clean and well decorated. location is excellent too.
However, simple things that create a true 5-star experience were overlooked: no toothbrushes, i had to bring my vehicle in and out through the back of the hotel, tissue roll was 2 squares from empty.
Food was of high quality and delicious--but again, simple oversights were their undoing: 1 pair of cutlery for 2 orders of room-service, breakfast set missing items etc...

Problem with taxi .. As usual in Jakarta
Service is very poor, most of the time there is no body at the reception and no body answer the phone, room is okey, the breakfast is excellent.
