Most pleasant stay
I enjoyed my stay at Harris Suites very much. The room was clean and the touch of orange colour made the place look cheerful. My husband appreciated the kettle for making hot beverages whenever needed. The hotel was within the fX building which is a mall with many cafes like Delifrance, Starbucks, Coffee Bean Tea Leaf, Cafe Cartel, Yakun and restaurants with Thai, Malaysian, Japanese, Indonesian, Filipino, Vietnamese, Western and Chinese cuisine just to name a few in the basement and 1st floor so all our meals were taken care of and the food we had was great! There is a mini supermarket and pharmacy as well. Checkout was fast and friendly!
Only 2 things that annoyed us was firstly the housekeeping ringing our doorbell every morning to ask if there's any laundry for cleaning and secondly we realized there was a club on the 8th floor just below our room so we could hear faint music till almost 2am! So don't take the 9th floor, ask for a higher floor. I think there are 45 floors!

"A Pleasant Surprise"
When a business friend told me about Harris fx, I was abit skeptical as I normally stay at Hyatt or Ascott. But I told myself to give it a try and was pleasantly surprised.
Customer service is quite good with prompt check-in and check-out. Rooms are functional with adequate amenities expected of a 3 or 4-star hotel. The free Wi Fi and complimentary hot beverage are plus points.
Although I didn't get a chance to use the gym, swimming pool and tennis facilities, I thought it was adequate for normal use.
The location is excellent, within walking distance of main shopping centres like Plaza Senayan and Senayan City and catching a taxi is very convenient.
There is an abundant of food establishments which supports the hotel and service apartments and general retail services are adequate.
Overall, the stay was pleasant and comfortable. Harris is skewed towards business travellers looking for good value with modern amenities and little frills.

Good place
The hotel is located above the FX mall, so finding some foods isn't a problem. The room is well designed, bed is clean and the basic amenities are there (pool, gym, etc). The location is near with a Transjakarta bus stop and not so far away from two great mall (Senayan City, Plaza Senayan). The only downside is the breakfast is too expensive and the hotel lift is too slow. All in all, its a great hotel and the money worth well spent here.
Fantastic stay!
Sparking new hotel. Given a room on 46th floor and can see 3 sides of Jakarta from the room, even from the toilet! Great service. Got a call when checked in to follow up. Free internet is a plus.But not many cab drivers know the hotel.
