Lots of small bitting insects (not sandflies as I know them), at the bar & beach. I got lots of bites before I retreated (within a few minutes), and would never book another stay here. The bites have still not gone & I'm using medicated cream for them now.

There is no big night club, mini mart.
But the quality is good. The view and also the facilities is two thumbs-up.

Novotel, south Lombok is adviceable for holiday. nice place, good hotel perfomance, safety resort. But you should added clear information answered by the room staff and resto staff. others is very OK
The worst Accor hotel ever
Old rooms, isolation from outside world so you have only the hotel food. We booked 6 nights, moved out after the first paying 1 night penalty. The worst ever hotel

The overall resort is nice, and it's the best in the Kuta region. However, don't forget it is still a Novotel, not a Pullman or a Four Seasons...
The room style ans size are great but the the walls are so thin you can hear next room's TV and discussions (well that was the cas for our room). Although the value for money for the hotel is really good, the overall stay is a bit of a rip off for drink and food compared to what you get in Lombok. Price is on average multiplied by 2 or 3. Still cheap for European though.
As long as you know all this before you come, you can only truly enjoy your stay at Novotel!

Love this place, lovely setting on the beach, beautifully designed grounds - the pools are lovely and the staff are friendly. Not much to do here but relax or go surfing - which suits us.Its good to have a car or bike to get around. The rooms are good, nothing spectacular but have beautiful views and are great value.

The site is great but very remote, the staff very friendly.
On the negative side, the food at the restaurants is
mediocre & very expensive, especially for what you can get in Indonesia.

We spent 3 wonderful days, the resort is in the middle of nowhere, but the ocean, bay, views are well worth the trip. Very efficient staff, always smiling and friendly. Happy hours are a must with the sunset. The Spa is lacking atmosphere, more like a clinic, but the treatment was very good.
