Perfect Escape
I chose this hotel because I thought me and my husband would find the perfect escape after 4 active days at Gili Trawangan, and we were right!! This place is perfect for those who look for total tranquility. The boat trip was fabulous with beautiful scenery... It was raining on our first 2 days but it does not make it less beautiful. The third day was sunny and the view is stunning!!! Though the water is not as clear as in Gili but we still enjoy our days there.
There were only 7 guests staying at the hotel, including us, we think it's due to the location which was difficult to reach. We recommend to take the 15 minutes boat trip instead of the 1 hour land road. The scenery throughout the boat trip was AMAZING!!!
The staffs were very friendly, one of them took us to a 1 hour trip to the Bumbang village, which was free of charge. Too bad we could not do the kayaking because the kayak lost one ore. And it was raining too.
The room was terrific, considering this hotel is a one star, so we were not expecting much. We stayed at the deluxe sea view room with concrete walls and is equiped with AC and hot & cold water. They don't have safe deposit box, but they assured us that the location is safe with it's many securities, and anyway we stayed at the hotel area the whole time and our room is within our sight as it was seaview, and maybe they can provide with a deposit box if you ask... Maybe... :-)
The food was great, better than those famous meal we had in Gili trawangan with higher price. Maybe we were lucky because there were only 7 of us staying so the staff pay more attention to us and so they can cook us good meal everytime... :-) All and all we enjoyed our time there...
I highly recommend this hotel for tranquility seekers and for those who love the beach as mush as I, because there's not much you can do there except relax and just stare as the sea...

Paradise for backpackers, anguish for comfort-seekers
Our 3 days beach time reserve of our Indonesia holiday was cut down to 2 days of swimming with the jellyfish and walking through tide left-overs (worms, starfish and algae), but it was fun. They do not mention anywhere that it takes 2.5 hours on a very bad road that hardly any taxi-driver wants to ride (we had to go down and push sometimes), and the e-mail on Asia Rooms is wrong (it should be info@..) but actually they can pick you up from Gerupuk by boat. Put 15-20 min of buffer to the pick-up because the taxi driver may be late too. Still, it was fun.. Coming from a mediterranean country where any seaside resort offers "really" crystal clear turquoise waters, idyllic scenery and "running" water, Bumbang Ku beach was n t what we expected as a 3 days beach rest, but rather a small adventure holiday. There is nothing but a fishermen's village nearby and the people are so nice - and curious without disturbing. The nature gives you many opportunities for photography. The food is really well prepared and the personnel works hard to provide you with all that you need, always smiling. If you stay for a few days, you will not want to see other parts of Lombok because it is so far and hard to reach. We had chosen the deluxe villa type of room, but I would rather switch to the bamboo hut, for they are healthier with air coming in (deluxe villa has no windows, you have to open the door). Do bring your own mosquito net, though. Plus if the water coming from a well does not run - and it won't or hardly will - then at least you'll have ready water in a bucket. You really do not need hot water, plus you'll have to dip your feet in the grey sand that will stick on you at all times anyway.
We had the experience of the nature and it was enough, but I would go somewhere else next time.

Ultimate Relaxation
very nice boutique hotel in a stunning private white sandy bay. very good surfing, fishing and snorkeling. definitely worth a visit. also building deluxe rooms now, finished soon...
