I suppose I could summarize my stay...
I suppose I could summarize my stay at Kimi Bajo in just one word - "Magical". Everything from the beautiful views, privacy of your own space (as though you actually own the whole resort), to the excellent service provided by the ever-friendly staff would most definitely astound you.
I would highly recommended this resort to honey-mooners, and couples would appreciate having their own space, and being one with nature. On the premise is an excellent dive operation, and I definitely enjoyed my first diving experience (many thanks to Miho and team).
Perhaps the only drawback from the experience was the quality and lack of choices for food. But if you're not a fussy eater like I am, then you would probably not be too worried about this fact.
All in all, this visit to this resort was worth every dollar spent.

Facility is lovely and the staff is friendly. Its a bit bit hilly, long up/down to the resto/beach so not for the faint hearted. Was forced into the set menu one night which surprised me because for the price of the stay, ala carte should have been available.
My only true gripe is the cancellation policy which was 100% of 3 days. One of my party (we had 3 rooms) had to cancel and we got whacked. If the place had been full or even half full, I would understand, but the place was only 30% full so nobody was turned away by our cancellation. One day charge would have been agreeable.

The resort is rather remote. If you stay in the resort all the time, it doesn't matter. If you intend to visit the city centre, that will be far away. It took us 40min by taxis and is not cheap. The resort doesn't provide free shuttle bus service. No CNN/BCC channels in the hotel rooms. The staff is very friendly, nice and helpful. Very poor money exchange rate in the resort, 50% lower than in the city centre. Change money in the city centre. Even airport exchange rate is better than the resort.

The service are very well, all staff members are very kindly, we recomanded this resort at the people that want to relaxe in a beautiful tropical garden.

It is a really nice resort but it is very far from the town and there are little alternatives for food besides the single restaurant at the resort.
It was a lovely place with extremely nice landscaping but it was a little bit too expensive.
Overall, it was a lovely experience!

nice resort with excellent, warm service. Good location to be based for diving. Good dive shop and guides. Food was pretty good but avoid the buffett and order a la carte. "Tika" was a excellent customer service rep at the hotel. Hotel is excellent if you are a scuba diver.

After a walk along the fishermen villages, we had cold beers at the beautiful lounge by the sea. Go early for Dinner to watch the beautiful sunset and the various moods of Manado Tua fading into the evening. The food was good and the staffs polite and attentive. The 5 star comfort in a beautiful natural setting truly makes our stay a memorable experience.

Our stay at the Kima Bajo was in 1 word PERFECT. The staff was very friendly, the service was excellent.
Except snorkeling and diving don't forget to go to the mountains and certainly don't forget to go to the spa! And also don't forget to have a private bbq on the beach!
