Good hotel in the town centre

Hotel is easy to find.Right in the town centre. Easy to get transportation to go anywhere.Plenty of taxis and other mode of transports around the hotel.Try the Trans PekanBaru bus service to explore the city cheaply.
The deluxe room is a bit small but just right for 2 person. The room is clean and the towels provided is good white in colour.
Water pressure in the bathroom is strong and hot water is available throughout the day.
For those who are light sleepers and could not stand much vehicle noise suggest you ask for rooms at the back or side where the noise is low as compared rooms facing the main road.
Breakfast spread is adequate.I quite enjoy the Indonesian kueh during breakfast.
More types of local fresh fruits can be added daily for guests to enjoy.

Okay but Not Memorable..

The hotel is quite okay in terms of location (city centre) ,cleanliness, staff and rooms . But a bit disappointed with breakfast ..less of choices , lack of facilities such as pool , gym , karaoke etc would create more boring environment during our stays especially at night. Amount that we paid different by almost RM100.00 compare to during booking. Overall .. the hotel is okay but is not really memorable to us ..

Good Service doorman

I make the contract booking with Asiarooms.com for 2 nights for a total of Indonesian Rupiah of 631,073 nett(that means service tax and government tax included). The confirmation page shown USD74 which comes out to be at an exchange rate of Rp8528=USD1. This is in line with the Forex rate of Rp8550=USD1 on the day I booked. However, at the reception desk they demanded that I pay Rp740,000 (at the exchange rate of Rp10,000-USD1). The hotel stated that they do not accept USD and they have their own set of exchange rate. They say this issue I have to take up with AsiaRooms.com Since I had been staying in this hotel for 7 times in the last 2 years and I liked their central location I do not want to argue with them. Now Asiarooms.com what do you tcompensate a customer like me... there is a lot of hotel website I could do business with. Asiarooms.com ... you have my email address and credit card number and you know how to contact me. By the way, the doorman give really good service,.... almost as good as an electrical automatic door opener. Even though the doorman is 5 feet or 10 feet away from the door, he would run to the door to open it for you before you could touch the door.... now that's what I call service. i would stay in this hotel again.

maybe a bit unlucky, the hotel got problem with the keys to the room so a bit of a problem of having a room without a key. the room is just ok, the aircon not really functioning, the bath room with wet floors and slippery too. the plus factors, the hotel is situated at the city centre, the staff really friendly, the food just ok.

Stayed there for 3 nights. The room is spacious with CRT TV and coffee making facilities. The room is facing the front with town view. Shower room is nice with clean and strong water pressure. But the toilet seat is located to close to the wall which will limit a medium size person to seat. To a surprise, only certain room get daily newspaper.
The food is very moderate for breakfast. It would be much better to add some varities
Walking distance to Pekan Baru Mall,Senepelan Mall, Ramayana I and Ramayana II. You can even find Money Changer next to the hotel which open even on sunday
The setback is that, once out the of room the smell of rubber filled the environment which may indicate that there is rubber processing facilities nearby.
Some tip on travelling, if require taxi from airport, get it from counter and pay to counter not to taxi driver.

The hotel is well-located in city centre. 3 malls, a bakery and many retail shops, especially textile shops, are located in the vicinity. Hotel may be small but the premises are well-maintained, brightly-lit and decorated in a modern style. In-house dining is unfortunately limited to the hotel's only restaurant, and the lobby lounge. Staff are helpful and friendly and service comes with a smile. Public taxis are easily available in front of the hotel.
We stayed for 4 nights in a deluxe room with a balcony, on the 5th floor, fronting the main street. The noice from the heavy traffic can be a distraction until you get used to it. Nothwithstanding this, we had a pleasant stay in the hotel.

Spacious room but large enough to view...

Spacious room but large enough to view about does not exist, there is no balcony which can be used to exit the room, the bathroom floor quite slippery. The hotel's location is quite strategic, suitable for business and shopping
