Good Service doorman
I make the contract booking with Asiarooms.com for 2 nights for a total of Indonesian Rupiah of 631,073 nett(that means service tax and government tax included). The confirmation page shown USD74 which comes out to be at an exchange rate of Rp8528=USD1. This is in line with the Forex rate of Rp8550=USD1 on the day I booked.
However, at the reception desk they demanded that I pay Rp740,000 (at the exchange rate of Rp10,000-USD1). The hotel stated that they do not accept USD and they have their own set of exchange rate.
They say this issue I have to take up with AsiaRooms.com Since I had been staying in this hotel for 7 times in the last 2 years and I liked their central location I do not want to argue with them. Now Asiarooms.com what do you tcompensate a customer like me... there is a lot of hotel website I could do business with. Asiarooms.com ... you have my email address and credit card number and you know how to contact me.
By the way, the doorman give really good service,.... almost as good as an electrical automatic door opener. Even though the doorman is 5 feet or 10 feet away from the door, he would run to the door to open it for you before you could touch the door.... now that's what I call service.
i would stay in this hotel again.
