The hotel do have friendly staffs, nice room with good view, various and yummy breakfast and nice Spa treatment.
All was quite perfect until the bill that charged me for the mineral water that supposed to be the compliments. I don't have much time to asked them to recheck again, so I just decided to pay it instead. I do hope that the staff should be more careful in checking the mini bar and can differentiate which mineral water is free and which are not.
It was a very nice hotel, good food. So i will recommend this for everyone.

The CIPUTRA Hotel in Semarang is conveniently located and not far from the airport. The rooms are clean and the bathrooms are adequate in size and convenience. The CIPUTRA is also located near a big mall which is very convenient for shoppers. The mall can be reached from the backside of the hotel and has a variety of shops and restaurants, including a KFC.
I have a pleasant experience at the hotel and most likely would stay there again on my next visit to Semarang.
We booked into and executive floor room....
We booked into and executive floor room. The executive club is disappointing, just a few chairs in front of lifts on 10 floor. There was complete confusion over getting a drink, took 15 min or more for staff to go down 10 floors to get a white wine and whiskey. Coffee machine was broken we were told to go to coffee shop in lobby for free coffee, and it ended up on the bill!!
The hot water ran out in the room after one shower. The engineering staff climbed in the ceiling and said they knew that problem, and set the water heater to near boiling point to overcome the problem.
However, location is fantastic. Make sure you see the Saturday night market, its amazing.
If the service points are fixed hotel would be fine.

The hotel is located in one of the best circulation and business spot of Semarang (Simpang Lima). It is easily connected to Yogyakarta, since Joglosemar executive bus service stops right in front of the hotel. The only drawback is no compulsory wi-fi internet service in guest rooms, while most of good business hotel in the regions give complimentary (free) wi-fi access to their guests.

Nice and central. Many shopping opportunities around. The night market nearby is worth a try. Breakfast was ok, but not special. Rooms functional.
