The carpet in the room was very badly soiled, the bed sheets were stained with what appeared to be old ink stains and there was substantial mould on the bathroom ceiling and around the aircon outlet in the bedroom. I set the aircon to 10 degrees to try and cool the room down but still found it hot sleeping under a sheet.
Continential or 'western' breakfast was basically limited to toast and eggs, although the restaurant did make good coffee which went down well with the coffee & chocolate gateau that was served as part of the breakfast menu.
Room service and housekeeping were difficult to obtain - I had a lot of trouble getting bath towels which had not been replaced during the morning clean, coffee sachets, creamer sachets etc that should have also been replaced.
The hotel is currently being renovated - very obvious from the noise and smell of paint, and the pool was closed for renovations - something not mentioned on the website.
