Really Feel like a Family
The hotel is great. New and clean. The staff are extremely friendly and very helpful. The only problem is that is in located in a small street which is quite difficult to find. However, it is close to Gubeng Train Station, Surabaya Plaza and Souvenir Shop. Great Value of Money !
Family Atmosphere in a village setting in CBD
Family Guest house is wonderfully set in a bungalow residential area jus 3 lots in from the main road of Gubeng. like other such residential areas it is gated with a guard at each entrance to the housing area. The old bubgalow was renovated to hold 17 rooms in two stories....the cafe where breakfast is served is on the 2nd floor so best to get a room on the 2nd. There's a free flow of coffee, late, mocca, etc 24hrs from the dispenser at the cafe. The staff are young and treat guests as visitors to their family home so the feeling is cozy and warm.
You can get staff to call you a BlueBird taxi within 5mins or you can walk out 5mins to the main road to catch a cab. on the way out to the main road are some stalls/warung where u can have delicious hawker food like nasi goreng, nasi campur, mee goreng, fried fish, etc...

Excellent Hotel
The rooms are large, luxurious and spotless. The service is impeccable, warm and friendly. This is a quiet hotel 5 minutes walk from a main road and in the train station area - Gubeng - not far from the centre but distant enough to feel peace and quiet. Free tea and good coffee are constantly available from a machine and breakfast is included in the cost. The hotel provides exceptional value for money and I would not hesitate to recommend and stay there again.

the location is not too bad, not so good. you need to take taxi to go somewhere, but not so far from downtown.
the nice thing was room condition, much better than i expected(air conditioning, tv, complimentary mineral water, etc). clean room! And the shower room is also clean. each room has own water heater, so hot water condition was also good.
wifi signal was not so good inside the room, but good at the public space.
one thing that makes us call this accomodation 'guest house' was the food. the menu was so simple!! 2 slices of toast with jam / instant noodle(a few flavor). don't expect too much with the breakfast.
overall, it's a nice place to stay. simple but nice. highly recommended on this price range.

Dari awal datang,udah disambut dengan ramah oleh resepsionisnya dan suasananya hommy.. kamar tidur dan kamar mandi bersih, AC dingin, TV kabel,the most important is free coffee 24 hours..

I enjoyed the cleanliness of the surrounding of the hotel as well as the room and toilet. It was perfect for me as I am very particular on cleanliness especially toilets. On top of that the workers are very very courteous and helpful. I am really happy with their services. One thing that can be improved would be the lighting in the room as it was quite dim. Maybe there should be a combination of both lights i.e. bright and dim.
On overall, I am very satisfied with the 4 days stay there.
