When we placed the reservation, I explicitly requested a twin room (i.e. with two beds) on a higher level. The confirmation did also state such requirements. When I checked in at around 1:30p.m. , I also made a very clear statement on this requirements at the front desk. The front desk staff confirmed that my room was a twin room. When we bought our stuffings and walked a long way across the corridor to my room and we found the room had only one king size bed inside. We felt very upset and took back all our stuffings and walked a long way back to the front desk. After talking with three of hotel staff and found that twin room for balcony type was no longer available on that date (because of there was a big group check in). We requested to down grade my room to standard class and would like to have a refund on the difference of room rate. But this was declined by Hyatt because they claimed that the reservation was booked via travel agent. They can only offer a upgrade to 'Ball' room but this room is on the GROUND level.
Another event was when we went to the ground level restaurant for breakfast on next morning. The entrace staff infomed us that our breakfast should be offered on another lounge on the second floor. When we walked upstair for a long way to this lounge, the lounge staff told us that our breakfast should be served on the original restaurant on the ground floor. I cannot beleive Hyatt will make another mistake ( I only stayed at this hotel less than 24 Hours). By the way, the choice on this lounge is very limited.
Moreover, on the second morning, the restaurant staff made the same mistake againa and informed us that our breakfast should be served on 2nd floor lounge.
I think the management of HYATT is very very pooor and will not recommend to my friends.
