Ashling Hotel Dublin was built in 1963. An excellent hotel, within walking distance of the tourist trail and yet, far enough away to provide a more peaceful alternative to the Temple Bar area. There is a frequent airlink bus service from the airport to Heuston railway station, which is
situated a short distance from the Ashling.
The lobby is medium in size and was the final part of the hotel interior to be refurbished, in February 1999. The facade of the hotel gives the property a traditional look, although the interior and annexe are very new.
