Zanhotel Il Canale is located in the heart of old Bologna overlooking the Aposa torrent.

This is a natural watercourse that was formerly used to supply water to the city and to the moat that surrounded its walls.

Today it flows in an underground gallery crossing the city.

A few suggestive stretches of the torrent, which flows at the surface, can still be seen.

To reach the Zanhotel Il Canale by car it is necessary to drive along streets with bus and taxi lanes and/or in zones with traffic restrictions, but access is always permitted to guests who need to reach hotel facilities situated in the old city centre
