Hotel Commercianti, site of the 'Domus' for the Commune of Bologna in the XIIth century, is situated in a quiet street next to the Church of San Petronio, in the pedestrian area of Piazza Maggiore right in the hearth of the city.
Recent restoration works have uncovered original wooden features which can now be admired in the hall and the rooms built in the old tower. In spite of the building's antique history, the atmosphere is bright and the extensive refurbishment offers functional and modern amenities.
