Summary

Immagine a modern and comfortable hotel with the charm of times passed. An elegant ambience, frescoes, decorations and majolica characterize the interior of the Hotel Gatto Bianco, where guests will find the ideal atmosphere in the heart of Capri for a vacation on the Blue Island.

The Hotel Gatto Bianco was built in the 1950's by the Esposito brothers, descendants of Teresa di Tragara, the first accomodator to visitors in Capri. Its name comes from a pretty, white cat that was found in a nearby lemon grove while the hotel was in construction. It eventually became the hotel mascot.

In the 1950's its restaurant was the meeting place for the island's rich and famous. King Farouk, Soraya, Clark Gable, Sofia Loren, Onassis and Jacqueline Kennedy spent magical nights under the green of the pergola. Today, while conserving the atmosphere of a time already passed, the Gatto Bianco offers its guests a room, space and an atmosphere with every modern comfort.
