Set on Monte Amiata, close to the peak of the volcano, this family-run hotel is an ideal setting to relax, reconnect with nature, and sample genuine, local cuisine.

In a beautiful clearing 1400 metres a.s.l, Le Macinaie is surrounded by Italys largest beech forest and offers a welcoming atmosphere, excellent service and renovated interiors.

The families which have been running the hotel for the past 35 years can organise a number of excursions around the area. You can take part in hiking trips and cookery classes. Between May and October you can also rent bikes and motorcycles.

At Albergo Le Macinaie you will find a free Wi-Fi point and a meeting room with a capacity of 60. There is a garden and a childrens play area and a new relax area with fitness corner and hydromassage, sauna ,and sun -shower Some guest rooms feature a private terrace.
