n 1884 a Venetian nobleman by the name of Count Giulio Rocca, built a beautiful country villa on the banks of the River Brenta. The villa was built upon the ruins of an even older villa, erected in the eighteenth century.
The beautiful park that still remains contains statues, trimmed hedges, and its own delightful chapel that all date back to the original property. Villa Ducale is today one of the most prestige Hotels in the Venetian region. It is situated on the embankment of the famous "Riviera del Brenta", a pictoresque place where the flowing river slowly beats time as it passes by the numerous historical venetian mansions.
One can live unrepeatable moments residing at this noble residence for business or pleasure where Venice and Padua can be reached in fifteen minutes, visit their universities, museums and stroll around their exciting shopping areas.In fact, today as in the past, hospitality at its best is practised. The Villa has been completely restored and refurbished and patient work has returned it to its antique splendour. The beautiful floors have refound their gleam: precious Murano glass chandeliers and mirrors, original frescoes and stuccoes can be found in every room: from the "Ball Room", which can hold up to 200 people for banquets and meetings, to the "Naviglio Room", appropriate for more reserved meetings.
