Hotel Description

The master house contains the 13 rooms, finely furnished with simplicity and taste. History has shown that the house dates back to the late 1800s and it has been restored to its original beauty. The structure still bears testament to its past with original stairs and wrought iron railing. There is a wonderful view over the Lake Liscia framed by mount Limbara and a thriving and wild natural setting of fruit trees, olive groves and mastics. Besides the stay in rooms, Liscia Resort also offers visitors the opportunity to spend an autonomous and independent holiday in the 11 renovated rooms that are situated all over the property surrounded by nature and along the banks of the Lake Liscia, brimming with carpe, tench, perch, trout and catfish. Once a shelter for equipment, hens, goats, hay and the shepherd's home, the rooms are now beautiful apartments with a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen with cooking corner, dining room and TV. Each apartment is a wondrous testament to the tracing of time that restoration has sought to enhance, such as chestnut wood beams, parts of load-bearing walls with barefaced stone and original internal gardens.
Left with their ancient wording the apartments derived from the restoration of the rooms bear the name as the activity they were originally used for: Stazzu Li Espi; Stazzu “Sa fica murisca”; Oven room “De su furru”; Stazzo of the time keeper (in honour of the two mastic trees that rise on the property); Stazzu “Sa rocca”; Stazzu “Ozzastru” (of the olive grove); Stazzu “Sa chrina ezza” (of the old pigsty); Stazzu “ Sa chirina noa” (of the new pigsty); Shepherd's Home “Stazzareddu”; “Sa mesa” restaurant: and the new living units Stazzo Oleandro (oleander), Stazzo Crocus, Stazzo Ginestra (broom), Stazzo Cisto (rock rose).
