Hotel Cavour
The hotel itself is bare minimum. Positives - the beds were clean, the bus stops directly in front of the hotel, they daytime desk clerk was fabulous, and the hotel could accommodate my family of 5. Negatives - location (at night the front of the parking lot in front of the hotel is littered with prostitutes), secured parking for the car was several blocks away, and the late night attendant was bugged just to answer a few questions. If you are arriving, hope that it isn't after 10PM and you won't have to deal with the desk clerk who can't be bothered with working. During the day, most of the slum factor is gone, aside from mounds of trash throughout the city. Napoli has some fabulous areas to offer and worth a day or two. Unless it was our last option, I don't think we'd stay there again.
