Tenuta La Romana was a farmhouse of the XVIII° century now completely restructured with care and respect of the original architecture. The Estate is situated in panoramic position, among the harmonious hills of Langhe and Monferrato. It is surrounded by the green of 40 hectares of vineyards with a lake and a poplar forest, ideal places for relaxing walks on foot or in mountain bike.
Tenuta La Romana has spacious rooms, suites with canopy beds and small apartments, all equipped with the modern comforts and elegantly furnished with a touch of romanticism in order to create a warm and pleasant atmosphere. The reception and the hall are covered by vaults of bricks, while the spiral staircase is enlightened by a beautiful glass dome.
The restaurant suggests dishes of local tradition as agnolotti al plin, brasato al Barbera or the bunet, all combined with our excellent wines. The art of our cook is to enrich the tradition with personal creativity, without forget the simplicity, to exalt in the best way the quality of typical products, chosen with a careful and continuous selection.
Guests can also have at their disposal a private swimming pool with park and two pleasant halls, ideal for weddings, ceremonies, parties, but also for meetings, business conferences and events.
Our purpose is to make guests feel the spirit of our country made of love for the earth, for the job in the fields and of respect for wines and food traditions, for this reason we organize a lot of leisure activities as visits in the most famous local wine cellars (like those of Canelli proposed as UNESCO patrimony) or cooking lessons and tasting wines. According to the seasons, it will be also possible to take part in the grape-harvest, the typical truffle hunting and other sport activities.
