Set in the countryside of Piana degli Albanesi at 700 metres above sea level, Masseria Rossella rises from the shadow of the mountain of the same name, in the beautiful "Scanzano" valley, in front of the Ficuzza wood and the Busambra Rock, where rare species of birds of prey nest. It owes its name to the special quality of the soil, which favours the growth of beautiful rose gardens and is thus known as the land of the roses.

The estate covers 40 hectares of centuries old and new olive groves, (which produce an excellent organic oil), orchards and vegetable gardens, aromas and flavours that form the basis of our home-made cooking. The warm fragrance of rosemary, wild sage and flowers will awaken long dormant memories and feelings. In this corner of paradise you will be pleasantly surprised by the unexpected countryside of woods, hills and valleys, lakes, luxuriant olive groves, immense fields of wheat, precious vineyards and top quality wine cellars. You will be enchanted by the light, bewitched by the colours and seduced by the intense flavours of a land untouched by concrete. A natural and unspoilt environment, proudly linked to its own agricultural traditions.

The buildings of the farm stay are the renovated "share cropper's" house, storerooms, granary, tack room, kitchens and barn. The bedrooms, the living rooms and the lounges are elegantly decorated with antique and hand-crafted furniture, valuable prints and materials. The bedrooms and reception rooms are all heated, comfortable and practical. As we are in the countryside, we want you to feel the nature and be in harmony with it. The bedrooms have direct and independent access onto the lawn of the central courtyard, which is furnished with garden furniture and parasols. There are six double rooms, one quadruple room and two suites, all with a private bathroom, There is also a large dining room with an ancient stone arch, a study library, three large lounges, two of which have a fireplace and one with a TV, a private chapel, and finally the granary, now a beautiful conference room. The large swimming pool, which looks out onto the valley is surrounded by a lawn and protected by age old trees; the terrace also offers a splendid and unforgettable view of the valley.
