Palinuro is a picturesque fishing village lying at the foot of Cape Palinuro in the southern part of the Cilento coast in Campania, southern Italy. The sea is clear and blue with a fantastic seabed. There is a breathtaking coastline with rocky cliffs and unspoiled golden sandy beaches and lots of mysterious sea caves. Here the rare flower ‘Primula Palinuri’ can still be found. The surrounding hills are covered by centenarian old olive trees and all this makes Palinuro the pearl of the Cilento coast. Furthermore the Cilento National Park offers a lot of landscapes and different possibilities of excursions: the wonderful Blue Cave, the Argent Cave and various other Caves along the Cape Palinuro and Marina die Camerota. You can take an adventurous walk in the mountainous heartland to discover the typical vegetation and fauna. It offers a perfect combination of myth, history, culture and nature for an unforgettable holiday. UNESCO declared it World Heritage Site.
Residence Trivento is in Palinuro, in the Cilento National Park, not far from the Arco Naturale, an enchanting sandy beach. It is situated on a hillside and surrounded by olive trees and typical Mediterranean vegetation. It is approximately 3.5km from Palinuro town centre. It consists of two different groups of apartments connected by a small street and a sport-and-leisure centre. Its quiet position makes it ideal for families who are looking for a place to relax and enjoy nature.
The sport-and-leisure centre, 1.200m from the beach, is the heart of the whole structure and includes: a reception office, two separate swimming-pools, one for adults (m.12.5x25) and a shallow one for children (m.6x11.5), with deck-chairs and sun umbrellas, snack bar, tennis- and football/ volleyball courts, bowls, table-tennis, archery and video games, mini and junior club, organized entertainment, internet point wi-fi, laundry service, safe, telephone in the apartments, possibility of boat trips, excursions and guided tours, special terms with the local diving centre.
The first group of apartments is situated m.250 from the sport-and-leisure centre and m.1.500 from the beach, consists of apartments situated up the hillside. These are ideal for families with children because the sport-and-leisure centre is easy to reach. They all have telephone and a roof terrace with table, chairs and deck-chairs.
The second group is further up the hill about m.850 from the sport-and-leisure centre and m.2.100 from the beach. consists of 10 small villas, each of them divided into 2 or 3 self contained apartments with roof terraces complete with table, chairs and deck-chairs. The villas are situated on the hill and are surrounded by rich Mediterranean vegetation. They have a wonderful panoramic view of Cape Palinuro and the Mingardo beach.
All the apartments have a modern furniture with telephone in each apartment and parking space.

The weeks 06-13.08.11 and 13-20.08.11 can’t be booked separately, but they have to be coupled with the previous or the following week.
Minimum stay: 7 nights in the period from 18.06 to 03.09; 6 nights in the period from 28.05 to 17.06 and from 03.09 to 16.09; 5 nights in the other periods.
Included in the price: gas, water, electricity, bed linen with weekly change, final cleaning, swimming-pools with umbrellas and deckchairs (open from 16.04 – 15.10), tennis (3 hrs weekly per unit), bowls, table tennis, mini and junior club and entertainment (from 11.06 – 10.09), wi-fi internet in the sport-and-leisure centre.
